Mike Brown is lucky to have had a job up to this point. As a Cavs fan, I never thought of him as a good coach. He has always rode the coattails of superstars, IMO. I was amazed that the Lakers gave him the job last year. Poor decision.

My thoughts exactly. I am surprised the Lakers ever hired him in the first place. I guess they didn't have many other options when they did hire him.

Not like Brown was good or anything, but 5 games is a joke. 2/5 of your starting line up is new and they are struggling? Wow, never happened before.

LOL Lakers

My question now is, who are the Lakers going to get to coach them? An assistant coach? I wonder if Phil Jackson is waiting in the wings?

Big surprise here, the Laker's want a winning team. They could of at least let things play out the first ten games...

The coach always gets the blame...
Anyway Brown would get his 3 years guaranteed salary!
If its Mike D'antoni KObe would average 35 on his system.
It would perfect for Nash.
Dwight and Gasol will have career highs!
The World Peace would be like there is Peace on Earth!

But I think Eddie Jordan would take over!
Would still employ his Ivy League offense!

Eddie Jordan is terrible and needs to be banned from the NBA. His offense is terrible and it is one of the biggest reasons Brown got fired.

Thank God! They should have done this at the end of last season. I'm just so glad that they did this early in the season, and not try to drag it out for the rest of the season.

it wasn't just these 5 games this season, but all last season too. i think they did good by firing him now while they still have this whole season to work with
