Default Stan Van Gundy goes Van Gundy on the Lakers...

He was on with Dan Le Batard this afternoon and just went nuts on the Lakers... called them incompetent, said the move was the "worst I've ever heard of" ...

at the end of the rant Le Batard asked him "so I guess you don't want that job then huh Stan?" After laughing SVG said "God no!...They'd be even dumber than I already think they are if they offered me that job"

Always loved that guy lol

I'm sure his hatred for Dwight had a little to do with it. But he made a good point in the interview... he said "why would you waste a month of training camp, 2 weeks of installing a new offense.. if you were just going to blow it up that quick? Why not change coaches in the off season if you were going to be that tight roped with him?"

SVG is a pretty smart Bkb mind. I would love him back on the Heat bench as an assistant.

He is right to an extent, but his vision is so narrow it's hard not to disregard him. Clearly if the lakers had the ability of foresight this shouldn't of happened, but there is also something called cutting your losses.

The Lakers Needs the change badly! Former lakers coach mike Brown was hired because of his great defensive philosophy, which didn't obviously work with the lakers! I'm hoping that they get D'antoni as a coach!
Perfect for Steve Nash!
