are there cards that you can only get in hobby and not in retail box ?

Hits are guaranteed in the hobby box, retail are far and few. Walmart has retail.

dont expect anything crazy from the retail box, but at around $20, its a fun break, you can pull alot of nice base/inserts for trade bait.

thanks for the feedback guys, well i got 3 boxes.. so i can sell one or 2 to my local friends cause they too are new to the hobby except im a step ahead no that im on BO. i actually look forward to breaking 1 or 2 of them though.

Hobby boxes of this run $200-$300 for a reason. The retail has almost nothing of value. That is why they have so much in stock and cant get rid of it.

Yeah I opened many of these retail boxes when I got back into the hobby a little while ago. The Red MJ in my bucket is probably the best card you can pull from the retail stuff.

really? didnt know that, well is there possible to get any good pulls from retail? i have 3 boxes so no return now haha... i will resell a box to my friend for 40$

i opened a hobby box for $140 and got a joe alexander as my auto, made back maybe 10 on the whole box

i think im glad with my purchase of 3 retail box for 60$ & who knows i can still get a decent hit to make the 60$ back.. wishful thinking haha

I have busted many blasters of 08-09 Hot Prospects and have had great hits from them. Kobe Bryant Jersey, Kobe Bryant Jersey #'d 25, Lebron James base #'d 25, Michael Jordan insert #'d 499, Amare Stoudemire Jersey #'d 25, and Allen Iverson Jersey #'d 25.

You have more shot at a Rose, Love, or Westbrook Auto Rookie with the hobby box. With the Retail box, you probably pull a jersey card and a bunch of blue parallels.
