The only way I would be pissed is if I paid tickets to see the game, if I went to a C's/Laker's game the the lakers sat kobe/dwight would kinda suck too

But since I don't, I don't care lol

spurs still giving heat a run for their money...def wld be pissed if i bought tickets to the game...happened to me before wit bulls vs. heat but it was the heat sitting their players and bron didnt play and at the time shaq was injured

So the coach owes it to the fans and commish to make decisions favoring them? No, he's doing what a coach is supposed to do. Bottom line, their top players are older, and instead of them playing in their 4th games in 5 nights, giving them a rest is smarter.

Giving a baseball player a day off in 162 game season is more equivalent to this than football.

no it was at the end of the reg season and coach giving players rest for playoffs...which isnt wrong but just sucks for the people that buy tickets to the game and expect to see the big name players they are paying the $$$ for and when u realize they arent playing def kinda feels like u got the shaft...and for a coach to be doing it so early in the season something def needs to be done about the schedule then to give the paying fans in attendance wat they paid to see

1) this wouldn't be an issue if it were the late season

2) Shaq never played on the Heat with Lebron

3) If Shaq was injured, why would you have an issue with him not playing? One player is far different than 4 of your 5 best scorers

Comparing this to football is dumb first off. Second, isn't this like 4 games in 6 days for the Spurs and the Heat had like 4 days off? Way to make the schedule NBA haha. Teams should be able to rest whoever they want. It's a 82 game season, 1 game doesn't change anything when you are the Spurs.

Why do we need to justify anything? The Spurs are worried about the Spurs. They have an important game against the Grizzlies on Sat and don't want to lose that divisional game. Who made you the judge and jury?

The Spurs have put themselves in a favorable position where they can afford to rest their older most important players. Doesn't matter whether it's November or the week before the playoffs- win your games and you can rest your starters.

oh it wasnt an issue like i said just was bummed out...and i got it mixed up it was the cavaliers not the heat ;-)
