Manipulation has nothing to do with price.

If I wanted to keep these prices high I would bid up each one of them keep them around the $800 price range, never pay for them. Then it takes about 1-2 weeks for the sellers to open a NP case.

By that time I would have inflated so many auctions that people have a false sense that the cards are worth $800.

So they pay in that range for them.

Remember, prices are usually set based on the sale of the first few.

It really isnt difficult to do.

Yeah don't go anywhere near that. You can get the AUTO on-card for around $200 and I believe that is SP /24.

The Kobe base auto in Prizm is /24? I'm not so sure about that

I agree, be careful on these right now man. Just came out so it's hard to gauge what's real and what's not with sellers looking to set a precedence.

I think it all comes down to what kind of future pedigree you think Prizm will have. Now with Topps Chrome and Finest out of the picture, perhaps Prizm will become the new thing for years to come. But I'd also have a tough time dishing that much on a non auto card of a brand new product line solely just because of its limited numbering.

certified greens was a good example...the only reason I think Retro pmg's have retained a good value is because they're still based off the original pmg pedigree.

you can get the non refractor base version for around 200

the refractor auto /24...no way.
