Default Prizm Parallel - Print Run?

I figured I'd start a thread about the Print Run of the Prizm Parallels ...

It seems like Golds /10 are every 6 Boxes or so (I may be wrong) and Prizms are 2-4 per Box (I think; Case Breakers can correct me!) ... So 10 X 6 X 2-4 = Print Run of around 120-240 per Prizm ???

Also, do you guys like Panini decision to not serial # these ?

I like that they aren't serial numbered.

I think Prizm's tend to fall 2-3 per box though, not 4

I broke four cases worth and I was probably getting 3 regular (refractor) prizms per box.

so there's a good chance it's probably right around 200 when you factor retail in.

My sample size is small by opening one box but my box had 4 prizms. Not sure if it's different because one was an insert prizm or what.

Yea I forgot about the insert prizms. I probably had an additional 10-15 of those in my cases as well.

Yeah it seems every Insert set has a Prizm parallel and Gold Parallel ... So if you include "Golds" as both the insert and base version, then the equation 10 x (# of boxes per Gold) x (# of Prizms per Box including Inserts) should = Prizm Print Run ...

I am also assuming the Prizm Print run is the same for the Inserts and Base cards because the Gold in both are #ed /10 ...

seems like insert prizms are much harder to come by. I've been checking ebay for awhile and they seem pretty scarce, wonder if they are shorter printed than the base prizms

they are harder to come by because there are 300 base cards. So there's 300 different prizms. There are a lot less inserts, so obviously less copies of insert prizms.

So what would you think the print run would be for Prizm inserts?

I got 5 golds in my case . And 27 prizm base . People saying more then 2 prizm a box are probably confusing inserts prizm refs

I'm asking because I just bought a USA Kobe Prizm tonight and may have overpaid a bit, but I haven't seen too many pop up. I'm thinking the prices on some of these prizm's may go way up when people realize how limited they are.

I love the USA cards because I think it will be only in this years product and its the nicest refractor IMHO. I usually do not buy inserts but A must buy on these .

I went to the phili show today > There were only 2 refractors there and a shumpert auto . I was kinda shocked .

Is it typical for companies to ever release a print run, or is this one of those things where it's just anyone's guess?
