It really doesn't look that bad honestly. I can hear it now, "here come the Pelicans flying down the court." Maybe they will impliment the "flying V" in basketball. =)

I'm just not feeling the Cavaliers color scheme... Or the name. But I have no say in the matter so it is what it is.

I suppose I'm going to have a decision to make if they rename the Bobcats the Hornets. I know I'll be a Pelicans fan but do I switch to collecting the Pelicans or do I stick with the Hornets? I must admit it would be fun to have a whole new crop of players autos to chase after.
I guess I'll just have to collect both teams & figure out a way to separate them

Really dumb move in my opinion. I think it will be tough on their material sales such as shirts and jerseys?? Maybe not, time will tell. I do think that the opposing teams fans will be shouting peli"can'ts" a lot though.

It's all about money$$$ Benson owns the rights to the name "New Orleans Pelicans" but he doesn't own the rights to "Hornets". Whenever things don't make sense follow the money.

I wish it was more colorful to make sicker patches. I found brighter colors like green, blue makes better patches .

I like the New Orleans Brass. Nice logo, weird name. Read somewhere it was the name of a minor league baseball team there a long time ago.

The Brass were the minor league hockey team that New Orleans had for a few years, The Voodoo was the arena football team, and the Pelicans were a minor league baseball team.
