I think the name is stupid, but I do like the colors and at least it's not as cartoonish I thought it would be.

Either way, I still don't understand why they're changing it.....

Idk...the colors are the only thing I don't hate...really looks like a minor league baseball team or little league soccer or something...just doesn't seem like an nba nickname...

All that the Pelican needs now is a unibrow. Dumb name/state bird and Logo. Hate it!! If I ever see a rapper with a Pelican jersey on in the future (on stage or in a music video), I will LMAO!

not bad actually. i like it, looks good. good color scheme. those nola logos with the horns on the corners of the floors are tits too. they should use those on the jersey. also is that supposed to be a fish at the end of the beak?

I tell you what I hate the name but love the new logo and court. Colours are almost reverse Cavaliers though.

Looks pretty sweet. I think it will take awhile for everything to get used to the name. The same way it took people awhile to get used to names such as Pacers, Heat, Magic, Clippers, Pistons, etc. Those are household names but if you really think about it, they are odd names for a team.

Exactly. Like with the Miami Heat. It sounds so normal, yet if you think about it, it would be like there being a team called the Minnesota Cold. Or similiar to the Oklahoma City Thunder, there being a team called the Portland Rain. If those were the team names, initially we would think they're dumb or silly, but over time people get use to them and they become household names.

The name was picked for the history behind it. There was an old New Orleans Pelicans baseball team around the 1910's. graphics look great though.
