I think Drummond for 650 isn't a terrible overpay. If the Pistons ever drag themselves from mediocrity and get national attention as a team, people will see how beastly a player he is. Anybody who dunks with attitude will be more sought after irregardless of their secondary skill set.

I gambled a bit on this product too! BIN'd a Jonas Valanciunas 1/10 for 160, I think it will have room to move up.

I really like these golds! I like the PMGs and Flair Showcase cards a little bit better, but these golds are fantastic!

Yeah I got it for $650. Probably over paid a little, but it looks well centered, which is rare

The golds should remain signficant cards in the future b/c of several factors -
scarcity (huge base set + inserts = singles very rare)
uniqeness - chrome type cards with their colors, printing quality, and design have never been up to this standard.
competition - the PMGs and totally certified emeralds are great but have precedent - these golds are the first versions of this kind. Also, of the releases remaining for this year, only preferred and NT have the potential to generate the demand from the intense basketball collecting community.
-Hard to say if they'll continue to go up from current levels, but I think there's a strong possibility of that happening considering the above reasons as well as others. The Preferred Silhouettes and NT RPAs and low-numbered paralells are the only the upcoming challenge for the dedicated collectors and speculators and those again have been seen before, while these are the first prizm golds.

Great point... then once the Black Prizm hits the market it would even command exponentially

Derrick Williams just went for $100. Could be a steal. Thought about scooping it
