Who will use one-day auction for a hot card like this? Not helping exposure at all...Not like the hype is dying down in two days.

But the auction picture is exactly like the one here. Only making it smaller, but all the other charteristics of a pic is exactly the same. Very imaginative!

I am the seller of the Kobe #10/10 jersey number. It is worth a heck of a lot more than $800 but the card was pulled during a pack-wars competition and I sold it for the seller on consignment. The BIN was hit very soon after listing. If we had it all over, would have done a no-reserve auction. Buy got a steal.

Exactly, and we did not even take the best picture to begin with and they STILL copy it! They buyer has the card now and is satisfied, but geez, snap your own picture.

Shaq, Iverson, etc all going $100-300 and Kobe/LBJ going 1k + ?!


Lillard just sold $1,999.99 BIN and Kobe $1,400.00 BIN ?

I just dont know how many 'collectors' would be willing to pay these prices to keep the cards in their PCs.

Looks like the collectors of the legit sales (Shaq/AI/etc) have no problem only bidding a fair value for the card, not an insane $1k + amount!

2k seems nuts but 1k seems in line with rubio and griffin gold ref rookies

Buttt, Lillard will have cards in future sets ... considered rookie cards.

Plus, he's no LBJ or Dwight ... it's not likely he's going to take over the game ... ever.

For $2k, there are hundreds of cards I'd prefer over the Lillard.

I know, to each their own, but $2k on a non auto'd, non game used, parallel rookie card from a low-mid tier set? That's nuts to me.

But, who knows if these deals are all getting paid for.

I'd like to see some collectors on here posting their Kobe/Lillard gold prizm buys for $1400+ that they are keeping in their PCs...

It's a self-generating hype and market manipulation. I have to admit, only when you have a good product, manipulation can work and work well.

I think the gold Prizms are much better than anything I've seen lately. I've always loved the Finest and Chrome products when I was younger; this is the closest thing to it for basketball I've seen since I've gotten back into the hobby.

Well, this happens when chase cards are printed rarely and initial wave of BINs are moderate. It's an easy money-making opportunity actually. A 'smart' person who senses the potential before everyone and has the time to refresh listing page and BINs before everyone else sees it will 'deserve' the money in the bank.

Some big time collectors will collect at any cost and have the $$$$ to get the cards instead of 'missing out' this product.

I don't blame any of above two types of persons. This is what the hobby currently is.

That's why after a minute or so I edited my OP and said Never mind realized it was two different sellers.

I thought it was the same seller selling two of the same card and didn't bother to take two separate scans so they just used one scan for both cards.

Funny you say this to paul. Paul is the flipper on ebay. I just find it comical that he is thwarting about prices of golds yet he bought the Rose gold for $400 and tried to flip it for $2000.

Paul, while I have no issues with you, you really do cross the line on the double standard to justify what you do.

You first complain about the product saying there is no money to be made. Then you go and flip prizm cards trying to make bank.

You then talk about how these crazy prices must be fake yet you are one of the guys listing a gold rose for $2000.

But it depends on the gold you hit. I've done like 3 cases worth, hit 8 golds and the best one was Shaq, so you still need to get lucky
