For those passionate NBA collectors who’ve spent the last few weeks totally chasing Totally Certified or being completely preoccupied with Prizm, know this: 2012-13 Limited Basketball goes live this week offering an altogether different — yet every bit as exciting — experience. Boasting some of the most uniquely shaped autographed Rookie Cards the hoops hobby has ever seen and a completely new twist on the game-worn memorabilia genre, the new-look Limited looks to be unlike any that have come before.
Those aforementioned Rookie Cards — printed on hugely popular acetate stock, signed on-card and die cut to resemble the Eddie Gottlieb Trophy annually awarded to the league’s top rookie — are sure to be conversation starters, as are the revolutionary Home & Away Memorabilia cards with a spinning square built into the card that twists to reveal a piece of game-worn home jersey on one side and a piece of game-worn away jersey on the other.

ok here is what it is:
Home & Away Memorabilia cards with a spinning square built into the card that twists to reveal a piece of game-worn home jersey on one side and a piece of game-worn away jersey on the other.

It is a jersey card the you can flip the color between home and away colors.

Not a bad set ... but to make this a HOT set ... they should have LIMITED the RC autos to 99 . With the plexi-on-card-die-cut design ... that would have driven the set dramatically. Now you'll have the first round be hot, but then die down quickly when the demand drops as supply increases considering there are 349 of each ...

The rookies look sick. The spinning jersey is a weird idea, but I wouldn't mind picking one up.

Lower numbering always helps but doesn't often seem to be done sadly.

Panini with 3 hits... looking $80-100 a pop. Brutal unless there is a flavor of the week low #'ed chase card people go after... based on history this will be a dud

I doubt this will end up being a low product. I am thinking $80-$90 for seven cards...

home away is interesting and new. no next day autos kills this product tho. it'll be $100 a box when it comes out for likely a nice hit a crappy jersey and some avg. jersy auto, you'll get back $40 per box. stick with buying singles on this one.

He is. There are panini homers, but then they get trumped by UD lovers.

Hopefully when UD exits the game from their criminal ways, it takes the rest of the garbage with it.

Collector: "Product looks appealing. Hopefully its fun to bust"

Flippers: "I hate the product because I cant turn $100 bust into a $5000 profit. This is unacceptable. UD would have definately let me make $5000 on a case bust. Thats because they fill the product with huge autos. They save that money by not paying players for signing!!"
