Default Pc player and why

I've noticed a lot of people on here have a PC player. I think its cool. I don't have one... I mean I have a bunhc of Jordan, Kobe and Ewing but not really a PC guy that I always try to get. I just try to have a diversified high end PC with some 1/1, some logoman, some high end autos and patches etc.

Anyway I'm curious to see who everyone's PC player is, how serious the collection is and also why you collect that player... there are some very strange PC player's on here, lol. Post pics if you'd like but this is more for who and why.

I used to collect James Harden. I sold almost all of my PC at the end of last years playoffs. I collected him because I was a fan of his playing style and thought he was one of the underrated players of his draft also playing behind durant and westbrook.

Rose - Big fan since draft.
Kobe- Watched him play growing up and still do til today. Also live in SoCal.
Jordan- No explanation needed IMO.

My two pc players are
1. Josh Smith
2. Derrick Rose

Josh Smith because I love his athleticism on offense and defense and Derrick Rose because my brother went to Simeon when he was there and I Ioved watching him play.

Bo Jackson. He was one of the best athletes I've ever seen. He also delt with issues that I delt with as a child. I currently have 57 pack pulled autos of him.

Melo. Caught one of his games his senior year of high school on tv when he played against lebron. Found out he was going to Syracuse for college, and I've always been a huge WVU fan. Seeing as how Syracuse was a big east rival, I kept up with melo because I figured he would make it big. Went and watched him wax WVU in Morgantown during his one and done and take them to a national title. Probably the best freshman year of a player, or at least one of. And have been going every year to watch him in person since he's been in the league.

I PC Chris Paul because I love the way he plays... I think I also choose him because he was drafted about the same time I started collecting again.

Brandon Jennings-I'm a Bucks fan and really like his style of play. Kinda surprised he hasn't become a more complete player yet.

Monta Ellis-Became a fan of his in 07' and loved his scoring ability and how under the radar he was. When he became a Buck, I just HAD to start to collect him.

Celtics (1957-1969)-I have always had major interest in pre-1970 basketball, so the Celtics dynasty made a lot of sense to be the focal point of what I have from then. If I ever choose to leave the hobby, these will be the hardest to let go of.

Lebron James is my PC guy and my Favorite player. Ive been following him since his high school days.. I feel like Lebron is the best player in the NBA and he will be the best investment in the future. I would PC Jordan but I can't afford any of his nicer cards... My hope is that 10 years down the road Lebron cards will be like Jordans are now value wise.

I PC the Orlando Magic, but put a lot of time specifically into Darrell Armstrong. To me, he was the epitome of what hard work can lead to. He made a name for himself strictly through hard work and hustle. The Magic gave him a chance and he took that chance and turned it into a career. He was also prominent in the community when he played here and still is today. About 10 years ago, he was helping rebuild a playground in Winter Park where I grew up. Me and my friends were at the park playing ball like we did everyday and he came over and shot around w/ us for about 15 minutes. It's a memory I'll never forget, being able to play ball w/ one of my favorite players. Go Darrell and go Magic!

thanks for responding, some cool reasons, i have some of these guys in my "sell" pile so lmk if you are interested in buying, i so far have some ed davis, jennings, magic and cp3. i think if i were to collect a player right now it'd be either blake griffin or iman shumpert. i have some amazing cards of blake, im kinda holding them til the allstar break in case he does the dunk contest again but some i would never let go of like his NT colossal logoman. i also really like iman but its too early to buy up a guy who had such a serious injury. thanx again and continue posting.

I don't have one currently, as I am mostly a set collector.
If I have one though, it would be probably either Michael Jordan, Grant Hill, Tim Duncan or Dirk Nowitzki.

I PC derrick rose for a few reasons , I'm a bulls fan so that was an easy choice i think back to draft night and i was happy bulls drafted him but if I'm being honest i would have been just as happy if bulls would have drafted Beasley
woooooooh dodged a bullet there lol
but watching derrick play and even beyond that seeing what a good person he seems to be ,makes him the easiest choice for my PC player
the only down side to collecting d rose is I'm not alone so i lose out on a lot of cards to deeper pockets
but i wouldn't give him up for any other player
and i never miss a chance to show some of his cards

Dan Gadzuric and Damir Markota. Why? I ask myself the same question.

Yea one issue with a pc player is its like how far do you go? do you get every base insert and auto and patch and jersey and... maybe you collect all autos? its literally impossible with 1/1s and promo cards to collect everything of a player and the better the player it is the harder it is financially to keep up.

I PC Glenn Robinson mainly with a small PC of Carl Landry. I am a Purdue graduate as we're they. I'm looking to collect every card of the Big Dog and just the main cards of Landry.

Illinois is my main PC. But a single player that I PC is Reggie miller because of his passion and my playing style is like how his was.

I love this post. Sometimes it's better to collect the lesser name players. You can get awesome cards at a great price.

DeJuan Blair and Kawhi Leonard

Why?

When I got back into collecting, Blair was the only rookie from the greatest Sports team ever created, then when they picked up Kawhi, I loved his game and attitude, so I expanded!

I also collect sets though, just love a chase that is possible to complete! Unlike player PC's

Same here with Stephane Lasme. I also PC Dee Brown, James Augustine, Luther Head, and Brian Cook because I'm a big Illini basketball fan.
