Its a rumor, Stein didnt say his sources. I mean where are the Cousins rumors now? How strong were those?

Not saying there isnt truth to it, but no one knows how real it is. 99% of the rumors you hear now are bullsh*t and will never happen, you should know that, even from a guy like Marc Stein who does a good job.

Jeff Green was awesome today. Even though Lebron still went nuts, he did a good job against Lebron, I mean as best as anyone could.

Pierce still looks like garbage, he needs to get back to normal to save this team.

I was actually surprised to see it but Green's on ball one on one defense has been spectacular all year. Top 9% in the NBA. His team defense has been an issue though.

Pierce is playing through dead legs, I was glad he found other ways to contribute today.

KG was all over the place on defense. Back to back 40+ minute games for the young fella.

Jeff Green gets a pass this year from me, hes frustrating, but when he plays well he is very talented.

I can take the quirks on offense if he plays defense like he did today.

So funny how Maz agrees with whatever Felger says.
Maz thinks D is so much better without him in the back court.
Yeah we all get it. Rondo is not liked by his teammates and media. Guy still is right on cusp of the superstar level.
Felger only mad because now they can't trade him. blah blah 3 games under 500 with him, can only be better without him.

Felger and Maz are possibly the two worst guys to talk about basketball. Their lack of knowledge at times is mind boggling.

Bottom line is although the defense has been better with him on the bench this year it is a marginal improvement - a whole 1/2 pt per 100 possessions.

Ultimately the team will be OK in the regular season. They have guys capable of stepping up and playing better. The postseason is where it becomes an issue because individual performance becomes much more important.

I guess will see. I know a lot of people are saying how much better they are without Rondo. How they have always had a better record in games he doesn't play. Well now we get to see them rest of season and in playoffs how far they can go without him.

Felger in how bad Celts offense is with Rondo (ranked 21st), blowing 27 point lead with Rondo. Like it's all his fault.

i find it interesting how a lot of sports personality celtic fans don't like rondo or at least are willing to get on him.

recently i was listing to bill simmons and of course he loves rondo but he still calls him out for his foolish bumping refs and poor play or stupid actions. its actually refreshing to see homers take a step back.

i think the comparison without him now will be interesting but wont quite be that with rondo vs without rondo comparison due to a lot of other issues the celtics are having.
