Another tough break for the celtics.

I was very critical of Sullinger when people started claiming that he was going to be good and a steal. He was def. proving me wrong and a bunch of others that said he was injury prone or not an nba type player.

Unfortunate that this happened when he was doing really well and playing better then anyone thought. Will be interesting to see how this effects celtics moves.

I think Melo is just up for an emergency, guy isnt ready. He had a great stretch in the D League then was just eh for a while

Hes there if they are up/down 20+ points and we need to kill minutes

Celtics have no choice to bring Melo up, they only have 10 bodies right now.

It a blow out, they are still playing a starter and their 6th/7th men in the rotation.

Great win, terrible team in Orlando but they look solid so far.

Pierce has been playing A LOT better. Focusing more on rebounding and passing before forcing a shot. Hes getting his mid range jumper back too. Always a good thing to see. Im hoping this is the jump start they need and make a strong run this year.

I think they can be an enjoyable 2nd round playoff team as long as they dont meet Chicago or Miami in round 1.

I just hope they keep progressing this year and playing more like a team.

Tommy is great. He makes games fun with his homer calls. Everyone in Boston knows his gimmick. Take what he says with a grain of salt. He is the President of The Green Teamers club.

No way the Clippers trade Bledsoe, 0%, Chris Pauls knees are all messed up AGAIN and hes a free agent, why would you trade a very good cheap back up PG when CP3 hasnt played in 2 weeks?

I bet that KG rumor is an old one or an old offer, I highly doubt the Clippers are doing that with CP3 hobbling around

Tangay lead off the nesn postgame with the rumor and it was running on nesn ticker.

Now would be right time to blow this team up. Isn't going anywhere with Rondo and Sully out for the year. Gives Danny a nice chance to rebuild on the fly. Sure he will be listening to all offers in next few weeks. Don't let the media fool you into thinking they are better now with out Rondo. Best case we make playoffs to only get our ass kicked in first round and put off the rebuild. Do it now and we are much stronger, younger team down the road. No player should be off the table. I'd even look to deal Rondo and Sully if a team is dumb enough to take damaged goods right now.

Bledsoe isn't going to stay cheap for much longer.

This would be a clippers win now and forgot the future type of move.

Seems like a legit deal. Sure Ainge is getting a lot of calls. KG would make the Clippers contenders. Celts probably would not want Butler's contract though.

Nice win today against the Clips, I won't believe any trade rumor until it actually happens

......breaking news. A healthy Chris Paul makes the Clippers contenders. KG or not does not change that if CP3 is not healthy. And he's not b

saw simmons post this and found it interesting.

Is this Boston Celtics team better without Rajon Rondo? - ESPN Boston

doesn't mean its necessarily true but intriguing that so many people are talking about it (fans and non fans alike). def. adds the to the intrigue of the trade rumor. could the celtics possibly want to move rondo eventually if this keeps up.

No question Rondo days in Boston are numbered. If he comes back healthy and plays well Danny will look to move him out if a decent deal comes up. No secert Doc is tired of his act and his teammates don't care for him.

Do you think rondo's peak value has passed.

A lot of what if but do you think a lot of teams would be interested in him or has his appeal fallen some?

Not even close to being true. How are they numbered? Because the Celtics won 4 games without him?

Come on, they gave him the keys to this team before the season started, they arent going to change course like that. Ainge has kept him and stayed true to his word (Aside from going after CP3).

He is a bargain with his contract, so no his days are not numbered.

I do think he could be traded, but I have said that for years now, but I doubt it happens before the Celtics are doing well without him, thats what talented teams do....they win regardless of who is missing.
