What's wrong with Manute Bol? Greatest shot blocker of all time, very popular not only within the league but off the court as well, did a lot of charitable works and is now deceased, so his cards retain some decent value.

Amazing human being too, I kinda like Panini making cards of random players from back in the day. Manute Bol had his moments, he had his fans and his collectors. I think its kinda cool

Topps made Bol autos too. While Panini do sometimes use odd/repetitive players, I don't think there's anything wrong with using Bol.

I know what the TS is saying. They are using guys that we haven't seen before or were lower end players even during their time.

Hell, I collected the past and present elusive auto set and that had people I had never even heard of.

BUT-- It was cool to see someone new besides getting a jason richardson or corey maggette for the 7 millionith time. Also I've had enough kelly trapuka while we are at it.

Love to get 1 or 2 Bol's patch but don't over kill it with scrub player's from the 80's and 90's. Don't mind making some scrub ssp so when you do pull a B.J Armstrong you be Happy as #@#@#@#@.

Wow. There is nothing wrong with manute bol who is a great humanitarian off the court. While on the court he is very famous amongst collectors.

I'd rather get a scrub from an old school player than a newer one...I'm guessing no current scrub ever killed a lion with a spear.....I like that Panini is trying to get some new player into their jersey cards

They also have Reggie Lewis in the same set. They had a couple GU cards of his in some products a few years ago, so they are using him sparingly as well.

What would be awesome is if they were to get Drazen Petrovic GU in some future products.
