Two BGS questions for experts

Hello BGS experts -

2 quick, fairly simple questions. I apologize if they are kind of silly, but I will soon be sending in some of my best cards and cannot afford to risk it.

1. No one seems to be able to walk me through the ENTIRE process of re-submitting a cracked slab. One of my BGS slabs has a small break that does not affect the card, but I want to get it redone. I know there is a $5 re-slabbing fee, and I know to "note it on the mailing slip." But no one at BGS will tell me how to handle submitting.

How do I use the electronic submission form for this and avoid paying the full price for a new card? I only want to pay the $5 plus shipping/insurance, and do not know how to set up the submission.

2. I am having trouble even beginning a submission to start with. I have an account, I am logged in, and I have filled in the payment details (# of days, shipping option, shipping account #, etc.). I have added the cards to the order form successfully as well, and I am at the step to enter my credit card information.

BUT I HAVE NEVER GIVEN THEM ANY CONTACT INFO AT ALL. Will I be prompted to do this after I submit my payment? I just do not want to pay and then be unsure if I have done everything correctly.

i've done about 5 submissions with them before, and never used the online submission form. always the printout. if you do that, and note on the form that they're just reholders, they will charge you only the $5 fee.

I would do a submission over the phone. I did my first ever one yesterday and the guy was very helpful.

1) You have to print your packing slip when you submit your cards. On the slip write in a red pen that you wanted a card reslabbed. Make sure its visible and make sure they dont bill you by calling in the day after its been delivered.

2)Skip the payment method, put MO or something. Then see if the page to enter your info shows up.

ended up doing this too after i received one of the first time submission deals, and i think i got it straight (fingers crossed).

did 6 cards + the reslab with 5 day service. pretty excited.

had the same question on my first submission. online doesnt have option for re-slab thus i settled for manual form then put there re-slab which costs 5 bucks.

I've always done on site grading. I'm going to be sending one in though. Do you guys send them in those flimsy card savers like they recommend?

The card savers are perfectly fine and actually my personal preferred shipping method when placed between two pieces of cardboard.

Cool. I just did my first submission yesterday. Sent 24 cards, hoping to get a few good grades!

if you guys need a group submission to get in let me know as im hosting one for 8 a card no auto and 9 a card with an auto on a 20 day submission (to BGS)pm for more info
