Default Opinion about an upfront Non Paying Bidder

I am trying to figure out the best way to go about this and just wanted opinions please. I have an auction ending tonight on ebay and the guy messaged me saying he bid way to high and wants me to sell it to the next highest bidder when the auction ends. Should I, do what he requests, relist the auction, or file a NPB? (I really don't want to have to drag out the NPB process though)

It's just frustrating because he has over 1400 feedback so I think he knows what he is doing. If it were me and I made the mistake and won the auction I would just pay for it anyway. It's only going for $14.50 so I don't understand why he can't just pay for it.

Just cancel his bid and put him on your block list. Problem solved.

Yeah it's ending in a couple hours so I guess I can't cancel it.

I'd message whoever is the next highest bidder right away, let them know what's up, maybe take a screenshot of their message to you and send it along to them if possible

You can cancel bids right up until the second your auction ends...
