Most disappointing autograph appearance wise?

So we all know lots of players in all sports have autos that look like garbage and are lazy, so this isn't about that.

This is about star players whose autographs are disappointing.

This is inspired by seeing some Kyrie Irving autographs.

I think we should be thankful Michael Jordan's autograph is as great looking as it is! Kobe also has a pretty nice one, and Lebron, well it isn't awful, but still a bit of a scribble.

I've always disliked when Rondo signs with his double-R, looks ugly.
Kobe's stamp has gotten way better with the addition of the Bryant.

Some names I can think off the top of my head with ugly signatures are Westbrook's from recent years, Rose's isn't particularly appealing, and Harden's

See when Rose's isn't sloppy, I really like it. Especially when he can make it big.

I know he's not a star player, but I've been liking Andre Drummond a bit lately, and wanted to pick up one of his autos, but when I saw this I decided against it.

This guy has 5 different autos i guess depending on his mood it always changes. when he does it right its awesome and when he doesnt it is terrible

Well, Im not complaining....but Kevin Durants in person auto has gotten worse and worse each year.Ive probably gotten anywhere between 30-40 items signed in person by KD over the past 4 years. It is pretty much hit or miss these days. Sometimes it's nice, and looks a lot like what you would see on a certified Panini piece, but other times, it's way out there. Only reason it bothers me, is if I get something nice signed like game worn shoes, or something rare....and then he signs it weird, Im kinda SOL. I could post a ton of examples..but here's one that would explain it very well. So yes...this would be one of the most disappointing autographs!

2010 World Championship jersey- (It's pretty bad, but I went ahead and framed it up anyways, just because I know it's legit, since he signed it right in front of me)

thats a very nice piece, but I agree about the auto.

I mean no one can be 100% consistent with their autos but you'd like to not see that kind of thing.

I think a lot of the guys get sloppy on the ip autos because they feel like most of the graph seekers are looking to flip them. Having said that, when i've gone to actual signings, the autos i've gotten have come out really well.

Both Durant and Melo seem to just initial for pre-game IP autos, rather than doing their full, regular auto.

I have always liked that UD mirror images set /2 where the stars sign one side sloppy and the other side in cursive. I didn't realize how many players have great signatures in cursive but just scribble.

Personal preference for me.

If somone who does not follow sports can read the name then I like those.

All the older players. Autos that Will C and Gio have are the ones I like.

I actually liked to buy Press Pass Autos when they had BSK. They got to all the players early and almost all had large on-card autos, before they were all "auto'ed" out later on.

I can't blame the guys for getting sloppy when they sign thousands of autographs through companies and even more randomly for people, but it'd be nice to keep it somewhat nice looking.

That KD in person a few posts up is probably his nicest looking auto!

It's hard to read, but I think my favorite auto of a newer player is by far Iman Shumpert

I just learned about this too. One of the coolest sets I've ever seen. Would love card companies to be creative like this nowadays.
