Default 2012 basketball prestige pack

Opened a few packs some were thicker than others how come in the thicker ones theres a white piece of cardboard? Like its a hard all white cardboard or something was in two packs? I dont get it? Help please?

They are randomly inserted into packs to act as a decoy to stop people from pack searching (i.e. they might think they have found a game used card but, in fact, it is a decoy card).

They are very useful for packaging purposes by the way, e.g. to put either side of a top loader for protection. So don't throw them away, even though they hold zero value.
