Default Another Serial bidder to block "britishoffi"

Ruined a ton of highend auctions, seems like the same person keeps creating new IDs and bidding up all the high priced cards.

1. How did u find out?
2 why do people like him/her do this ? What s their motives?
This is really bad for true collectors/buyers

It happens once in a while. We have seen it quite a few times where a bidder goes on a spree and hits all the BINs or wins.

All of these sellers should set up the filter tool provided by ebay. You can set filters to restrictions like no bidders with any NPB can bid. Or no bidders from certain countries and no bidders with less than X amount of feedback/violations against their account.

I mean with high end auctions, why in the world would you leave yourself open to a bidder like this? Doesnt make sense! Or it does make sense because these sellers are looking for these types of bidders to pump up the bidding but not win it!! Thats the agenda!

I had this happen, about a year ago, to me. I sold a lot of cards to buy a new car. Someone went through and shilled all my high end cards, mostly exquisite. A few people contacted me on eBay accusing me of shilling my own cards. It was really frustrating and annoying, especially when I needed the money then people accusing me on top of that. I think people have the same high dollar cards and want to make sure their cards value stays high.

What are buyer requirements?

You can block buyers from bidding on or purchasing your items by specifying buyer requirements. You can block buyers who:
Don't have a PayPal account
Have unpaid items recorded on their account
Have a primary shipping address in countries you donít ship to
Have reportedly violated eBay policies
Have a Feedback score lower than the number you specify
Are currently winning or have bought 1-100 of your items in the last 10 days (you can specify the number)

This is correct.

Ebay only lets you block feedback scores of -1 or lower. Why they don't let you block zero feedback is something I've never understood. I guess they are afraid too many legitimate new buyers would get shut out of items.

Can you set it at 5 and lower?

No. You can only block bidders with a negative feedback score (-1, -2, -3, -4 etc.). You cannot block zero feedback bidders or feedback with positive numbers (1, 2, 3 etc.).

The only exception to this is that you can block bids from positive feedback bidders who are winning or have already won one of your items. So if a zero (or 1 or 5 or whatever) feedback bidder is currently the high bidder or wins one of your items, you can keep him from bidding on any more. This is to try to stop the idiots from winning all of your items and not paying.

Ebay rules make no sense, you cant block a 0 feedback bidder, but you can block a negative feedback bidder.

The only way you can get a negative is if you are a seller, as buyers cant receive negative feedback.

That sucks! You raise a good point too about artificially keeping prices high, never would have thought of that.

Fraudulent market manipulator - Modishobbies/Nnamdi21/Shaun Modissette

This thing happens a lot, and has ruined the market. the Jordan conspiracy is really this.

The above is a clear example, and done by Danny Gold (vision) etc too. Just look at what they have up for sale and find out what cards they have to peddle and you won't be too far off.

This guy just ruined my Jordan Limited Logos auction for 9.3k! Wish I would of known about this guy before my auction ended. I actually needed that money too. I can't believe people intentionally ruin other peoples business. Then like amaballa801 said, some guy sent a nasty message accusing me of messing up my own auction. On top of that, somejerk99 messed it up a couple months ago when it went for 12.4 This is seriously getting old

I've seen people state in the description If you have below so much feedback their bid will be retracted. Whether or not they got away with it I don't know.
