They give away $20,000 for the same shot at halftime at OKC Thunder games.

I was thinking the same thing that's a crazy small prize for an NBA team. I work at a small college and even we have a $10,000 promotion. I worked on getting our contract done with a company that insures those contests and the rate would be chump change for an NBA team.

i agree that 1K is pretty weak for an nba contest. also, was this just for season pass holders?
