Wow. Talk about falling apart.

What a mess. How do you leave Dirk open and let him beat you like that?

What a joke, the NBA ruled the Gibson foul on James a flagrant.

Only problem is, it wasn't even one of the plays people were talking about

Taj Gibson Flagrant foul on LeBron James - YouTube

Oh Lebron, how the NBA loves you so

Yep, I'm PC'ing Butler along with Rose....I can see Butler in our starting line up next year...him and Rose should play very well together when he returns...both super athletic!
So far, I've picked up his Prizm Gold, Metal Futures redemption, and a handful of others...think he has a TON of room to grow! Plus he's just a cool dude off the court....

The Jimmy G. Buckets bandwagon is filling up quickly! lol He's a fun young player. I think he'll end up being pretty good too.

Again, my problem with Rose continues.

After the Bulls game tonight, they have only 6 games left, and here are Rose quotes from today.

Quote:
Rose left open the possibility that he would return when asked if he wouldn't play this season.

More On The Bulls

Can't get enough NBA news and notes? ESPNChicago.com has all the latest on the Chicago Bulls. Blog

"Oh no," Rose said Sunday before the Chicago Bulls' shootaround. "I'm keeping it open."

"I'll play whenever I'm ready to play. Who knows when I'm ready to? Right now, all I can do is just cheer on my teammates."

As for any minutes restrictions, Rose doesn't sound concerned about that as he continues his rehab. He is getting closer to the one-year anniversary of tearing his ACL last April 28.

"I wouldn't mind [playing limited minutes] at all," he said. "Of course I want to play more, but it's not that big. I'm going to play whenever I'm ready. I don't care if it's 15 or 40 [minutes]. I just love the game too much. I'm just waiting, just praying about it and hopefully I'll be out there soon."
Seriously, with 6 games left, just give it up. Stop distracting the team, pack it up and get ready for next season.

ok a few posts ago me and a few others said the bulls would break the heat's winning streak ,we were right

that win coming just a few days after we almost snapped the nuggets win streak ..bad goaltending call , or i should say inconsistent call.. whatever

lets assume the knicks beat the wizards on tues...win streak at 13

the stage will be set for the streak busters to strike again

just want to be the first to call it...

Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on Rose at this point? Do you want him to just call it a season or would you still be ok with him coming back like the day before the playoffs?

hey whats up man, im still holding strong , if he can get his mind and body straight. i dont care if he doesnt play in the regular season , he knows the system he can slip right in once the playoffs start
i see your point on the distraction part , i dont know if i agree ,but i do see your point there is no telling if he will be back , but picture this the playoffs start how energized will this team be if d rose is standing there with them .
imo distraction gone , cue up maybe the most dangerous team in the playoffs

I need to talk to you more often when I'm down on the Bulls ha. That would be nice for a playoff return, but I fear that would be a tremendous amount of pressure on him if he did that.

I don't know why everyone is on Rose's back about this. In Australia, in particular our Australian Rules Football, it is a minimum 12 months recovery from an ACL reconstruction. This is unless they go for the LARS procedure.

This means Rose wouldn't be scheduled to come back until the 28th of April.

I know Shumpert and Rubio came back within 10 months but they are not on max contracts or franchise players like Rose so the risk is less. I'd be happy if he sat out the season.

I guess the more I hear about it the more frustrating it gets.

They say part of rehab is actually playing, and Rose has been cleared for that part of rehab for over a month now.

I like Rose and want him to come back better than ever, but I want him to just call it a season and quit with the day-to-day stuff.

Reports from Chicago are that his teammates are astounded he isn't playing yet because he's been absolutely tearing it up in practice. That's good to hear, but also slightly annoying because I wish he'd step on the court again

Yeah our footballers have to do a few weeks of intensive full training before they are given the go ahead to play again.

I think its more his expectations that might be holding him back. He sets such a high standard that he doesn't feel he can play again until he reaches them. However he wont reach them until he plays. Sort of a catch 22.
