Default Best rookie class in the last 4 years?

At their peak which rookie class do you think will be the best?

2012: Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal, etc
2011: Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, Kennith Faried, etc
2010: John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Greg Monroe, etc
2009: Blake Griffin, James Harden, Steph Curry, etc

It's not even close because of the way that Griffin, Curry and Harden are playing this year and the way way those guys are starting to develop as full time players and leaders for their team.

Right now it would be 2009. Four years from now it will probably be 2012.

2009 is definitely the better class, but this time ext year, 2010 might be getting closer.

2010 has a lot of potential...

Wall, Cousins, Monroe, Vasquez, George, Bledsoe, Lin, Turner, Favors, Sanders, Patterson, Davis, Hayward, etc.

2009 was a great class... too bad the trading card market absolutely sucked that year!

2010 to me just looks like a bunch of role players. Wall and Cousins obviously still have a lot of potential, but it will be interesting to see if there's any true stars there, or just a bunch of decent players.

2011 sucked... Kyrie will be a superstar, but there likely won't be many notable other players. Maybe Kemba?

2012 in my opinion has a LOT of potential... Beal, AD, Lillard could all be stars. And guys like Ross, Henson, Vucevic, MKG, could be solid as well... plus a lot of other guys that I could keep going on about.

I think Brandon knight can be a very good player in the league for years to come from the 2011 class

Wall was not even the best rookie in his class. Blake won ROY!

2009.

And what about the other years? Just like the other sports, the draft classes cycle. Every so often you'll end up with an awesome class, then it falls off with maybe one or two stars the following years, a lull, then BAM, another awesome draft class.

Look at football for 2013 = WEAK. You have Cam and Kap 2011, Luck, RG, Morris, Martin 2012
Look at baseball for 2013 = WEAK. 2011 draft was excellent, 2012 decent, 2013...there's a reason why BDPP is NOT going retail this year....

I'd have to say 2003-4 is up there too, becuase of melo, wade, lebron, bosh. 2004, 2005, 2006 were really weak...

I know it's outside the four year window, just putting my two cents in......

Can't believe you didn't include Paul George in 2010. Best of the class this season by a country mile. I'm pretty sure Greg Monroe has one of the worst plus/minus and defensive efficiency numbers in the league.

I completely disagree, you had both topps and upper deck rushing to get 09/10 stuff out before their licenses expired, its nice that for this class you've got a choice between chrome, exquisite, or NT.
