Value on a full Gold Standard Set

I've recently picked this up, I was just wondering what you think the value on it would be? Any opinions appreciated!

That set looks very nice. No idea on the value however.

its really hard to say value on something like this...most of the value is in the autos obviously.
the inserts are basically worthless on their own, as a whole its hard to say what they'd be worth.
what made you want to buy it? just curious.

If it hit Ebay, I'd say a range between $900 on a very bad day and on a high mark $1350

That being said, the top 5 of the autos graded gem mint might fetch $600 by themselves

what made you want to buy it? just curious.

The fact that each individual card is numbered to 299 and that the set is quite well made is what I think makes this set especially rare and valuable in my eyes. That being said, the recent Prizm is also a VERY nice set but I just feel that the face that the Greens are not numbered, nor the base set just creates uncertainty on just how rare they are.
This set is just something I would look to keep in the PC for a while because I like rare stuff and it looks nice! I guess the fact that I also have 5 Channing Frye base cards here with me right now means only 293 more possible full sets are available! Muahahaha! LOL
Also some of the inserts on eBay do go for a little bit, say a few $$ but as you said, as a whole they are just worth a bit more.

lol, pick up as many Fryes as possible!! each one you get takes away from a possible set .

i agree, i like this product for the most part (save the auto windows...) and busted a lot of it.

do you have all of the different base card variations? i know some of the base have players in different jerseys...Drob50 or someone else could probably elaborate on the players / variations.

really on value tho i'd say the autos + 200 or so...so around 1000? but i mean its really tough to value. maybe not that high...

Yes the auto windows really put me off wanting to add to the regular base set. I do have some other variations but nothing complete. Also the variation in player uniforms, isn't that in 2012-13 Gold Standard?

no in the 11-12 product there are several base cards that have different variations...Drob50 don't you know them?

edit- excuse me, this is the 10-11 product but yes it has variations

I looked at the photo and say the Ewing Knicks, Rodman Bulls, and Maravich Hawks. Yes I have good eyes!

You would need to pick up the 4 other Rodmans, 2 other Maravich and 2 Ewings to have a complete w/ variations.

Even without it, I say it is awesome!

They are part of the same /299 like the 12-13 GS!

Also I feel like the 12-13 GS doesn't have the same allure of the 10-11 purely because of the lack of insert set. Thoughts?

The Rodman in Mavs uni is the rarest of all with an estimated /10 print run.

Knicker had all of the variants correct,

I have 3-4 of the Rodman, just not the Mavs UNI. Some on here may remember when I had a deal done with a guy who kept jacking the price on me and then pulled out altogether! lol

I had one of my kids knock over one of my card folders recently and I panicked, thinking it was my Gold Standard set, luckily it wasn't. But it made me decide to move the cumbersome set and trade for a few NICE singles! lol
