Looking for a Legends set to start... Any advice?

Only looking for UD sets. Looking for sets with some of the lesser known 70s and 80s legends (i.e. David Thompson, Mark Eaton, Adrian Dantley). A couple sets that come to mind is 03-04 Legendary signatures, 06-07 sp sig ed. hoops inc. , 06-07 trilogy past signatures, 08-09 chirography. Any others out there that I'm forgetting?

I have a Gail Goodrich 07-08 Chirography Gold #'d/25 on Ebay right now. IMO this is a really good looking set. I've been looking for the Gold versions, but they come up pretty rarely. I got this one as a replacement for a Rondo Auto Redemption (Yes, thank you UD!) I thought about chasing it myself, but decided to buy up every Kobe EX-2000 rookie card that I find that is not on E-bay.

To answer your question, Chirography (any year) is an awesome looking set.

One of the toughest sets to do, been trying to a get a jordan for a bit now.

2000 legends is the nicest in my opinion and 1 of my top 2 favorite sets (the other being chronology)

Chirography is a good choice. I like these three as well...

2007-08 Chronology Legends and Timeless Memories

1999 Epic Signatures

Out of curiosity is there even a single that features close on getting the 50 G's in one set? Like 30 or 40 out of the 50 G's are in that set or something.?

1999 Epic Signatures has 24 of the 50 greatest.

2000 Legendary Signatures has 31 of the 50 greatest.

2007-08 Chronology Legends and Timeless Memories (canvas autos) has 26 of the 50 greatest (although, when you add in players like LeBron, Durant, Kobe and Garnett, plus legendary 'rare' signers, it really adds up to a great checklist).

2010-11 Panini Basketball hall of fame Famed Signatures is a really nice set, easier to complete a more recent set than older sets

I love this set, I have the Nate Archibald aswell, they just sit in my cabinet and everytime I look at them I contemplate going for the set
