I would surmise that neither provide high liquidity.

If you are tying up a large sum of money with questionable return I would need a strong market to quickly liquidate if necessary.

Some people collect pogs.... some collect 24k gold....

You gotta be a jersey collector vs. card collector. I've been a card collector forever, and won't just switch to jerseys just because "it's better" or whatever the reason. I'm a card collector I don't think because you collect cards of basketball players, all of a sudden you'll want to collect their jerseys. For that, you can start collecting sneakers, head bands, their game used underwear........... the list goes on! You gotta be into that stuff. Just saying... i'm sure you'll enjoy collecting jerseys, but it's definitely not for everyone. And we're not talking price here either, cause there are people who spend many thousands on cards, and would never spend that money on jerseys... why? Because they don't collect jerseys, they collect bottle caps!

Happy collecting jerseys, guys. Hopefully you will post them here some time.

My goal is to collect both....just something about an entire game worn jersey that excites me! I will always collect cards, but ever since I bought my first D Rose gamer, and had him sign it and inscribe it, I've been hooked and wanted more! I now have two Roses and a Taj gibson rookie uniform...looking to add a Butler and more Rose's in the future....

If you have the room and space, game used jerseys are far more appealing. I don't know too many people who would swing by and say "show me your two row box of cards" compared to seeing a nice gamer framed on a wall.

I was a card collector and while they do still excite me a bit, this excites me more
