GOLD Lillard and Waiters "Prisms" Mailday

I picked up these Leaf Prismatic Golds /10. I wish I had found out about them earlier. Basically a Stealth release by Leaf. (EBay only). I really like these. They are VERY GOLD in hand. Scans do not do Justice.

Nice! I saw those randomly show up on eBay as well. They all seem to be selling pretty cheap too! I guess people are not fans of the college unis and well, Leaf products in general. But I think they look really nice and must look great in hand!

I kind of like the concept of a direct to market release, and letting bidders decide. I do not think Panini would dare this type of release, but if it was limited enough, I think it would be fun. Topps did a similar direct sale approach a few years back with Draft Day Photoshoot autos for sale on their site. I like the Ebay approach a bit better. The only downside is the temporary flood of the market and then they are pretty much gone forever except for resale. I'll move mine eventually, but thought I could have some fun with these first. Maybe BGS will aid in their beauty?

I would love a nce college uni set. Thats a college colors on fake unis set.

Too bad upper deck wont put their college license to good use...
