If it weren't for all of the missed dunks, I would say it was pretty good. But when the dunk completion percentage is like 60%......not so much. I thought the Ross dunk over his painting and then him signing it was really cool, though.

please someone take this all saturday crap out behind the shed and put it out of it's misery. the entire all star weekend needs a complete overhaul with mandatory participation by it's superstars in all events. this garbage is absolutely unwatchable. when the best part of this show is shaq and charles making fun of dawkins suit you know you got problems. turrible.

Gotta get the stars in. I like the contest overall, but it has to have stars.

lol, me and my brother were shaking our heads in disbelief and laughing our azzes off at the ridiculous outfits these guys were wearing tonight. durant's wearing a black shirt with ceramic stars glued onto it, lebron's tshirt with long leather sleeves sewn on, wow. i don't know what's going on with nba stars and fashion right now but it needs to stop. sad thing is someone is probably getting paid big money to style and dress these idiots.

Maybe the stars will participate if they do a team format for the dunk contest with no winner. Most points from each conference wins and the prize money goes to charity. I have a feeling some are avoiding the contest due to a fear of the backlash if they lost especially in the YouTube/Twitter era. Other reasons might be the amount of time/energy needed to prepare about 4-5 different dunks.
It would be fun for the fans, and won't take so much time/energy for each player to prepare for. Even the old guys like Carter could participate. Just a thought. |

I fall into Shaq and Chuck's age bracket. I love how they made fun of the youth fashion statements. I don't think we dressed that poorly. My wife kept commenting on the fake leather on everyone.

i know what ur saying but he's losing a lot of could be fans as it stands. and as much as people wanna act like if he didn't win it would make him look bad a)not really b) he'd probably win just from crowd reaction if it was close c) he'd gain fans

The all star game has basically just turned into one big ugly spectacle, it's a joke
Why do they need to have a mini concert between announcing each lineup?
