As a super star player..... at least 2. Doesn't matter you have 5 or 6 and are a bench player haha

Lebron will get his second this year, and then it's on!!!

Omg why do people bring up the same crap over and over again?! Lebron is a freak of nature and yea you can chase rings in your hometown but kobe and MJ were part of basketball teams that were always decent if not great.

If it wasnt for kyrie cleveland would be a damn joke right now.

At the end of they day everyone will have their own opinion. But stop hating on the guy, he is an athletic freak of nature. Lebron is still young and at his peak

Did Kobe demand to be graded from the hornets? I have heard various things and wanted to know facts. I heard nets wanted to draft him but his agent said he only wanted to play in LA so nets took Kittles... What's the real story?

And just think, if Jordan wouldn't have retired for those 2 years in between for baseball, he would have won 8 in a row!

Problem is Jordan never won a championship with a dominant big man. He made those players into stars.

DWade won a ring without lebron....Wade and Bosh are both established stars in the NBA, So If Lebron wins 6 rings with this team, You still have to take Jordan based on the players he played with. Now as for saying the Greatest of all time, it's tough to say, obviously you can't evaluate by rings because there are players with more ring than Jordan that weren't as good. Lebron IMO will be better than Jordan stat wise, he will never ever have the same monatary effect to the world and the NBA as Jordan had. Jordan made so much money for the US the city of Chicago, the NBA...He'll always be the face of the NBA, whether someone passes him or not.

Also if Lebron wins 6 rings and 6 finals mvps how ' memorable' are those finals? I can count at least 5 or 6 special plays or moments in mj's 6 finals....only moment I can think of during Lebron's finals is when he did his punching bag thing with Wade against the Mav's.

Kobe had a silver spoon since day one of his nba career.

Greatness is measured in FINALS MVPs, its shows the one that carried the team to the championship.

Shaq has 3 of Kobe's 5, go figure.

Jordan 6 for 6, Robert Horry 0 for 7, Jordan Farmer 0-2

It doesnt matter if Lebron wins 1 or 7 rings. He will never overtake MJ as the greatest player of all time simply because people just wont admit it.

And I still dont understand the whole argument that he left to go to a more talented team.

Do u discredit the championships the Lakers won simply because they had a team with 3-4 HOFs? (Magic, Kareem, Worthy)

At the end of the day, championships are won by teams with great players leading them.

And people should really stop throwing in Horry, Fisher and all these guys with multiple rings as arguments.

Because to be even considered as the greatest of all time, you have to atleast be the greatest of that era!

Jordan is just perfect and you see tons of epic plays and clutch shots from Jordan years after. But after lebron retires with his 8 rings you replay Lebron's game you see him driving to the rim for a layup after 5 steps and drawing a foul to win a game...
To pass MJ Lebron gets too much to prove.

There's also a big difference between having Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, Steve Kerr, John Paxson, Horace Grant, etc

Versus

Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson, Wally Szczerbiak, big Z, and.... not much more. Hell, 2 of those 4 names weren't even on the crap roster that LeBron took to the finals in 2007.

Lebron has never lost in the first round at this point. Jordan did (3 times).

Michael Jordan retired before the 1993-94 season, and in his absence Pippen emerged from Jordan's shadow. That year, he earned All-Star Game MVP honors and led the Bulls in scoring, assists, and blocks, and the league in steals, averaging 22.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 2.9 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game, while shooting 49.1% from the field and a career-best 32% from the 3-point line. For his efforts, he earned the first of three straight All-NBA First Team selections, and he finished third in MVP voting. The Bulls finished the season with 55 wins, only two fewer than the year before.

When Lebron left cleveland, who emerged? They went from a top team to a bottom dweller. Just goes to show the level of talent Lebron had to work with.

They went from 61 wins in 2009-10 to a conference-worst 19, the biggest single-season drop in NBA history

The Cleveland Cavaliers finished with the worst record in the Eastern Conference (19-63)

The year before they were 61–21

It doesn't matter how many he wins. It's all about peoples opinions. Some people think he has already surpassed Jordan and other think that he will never be as good as Jordan no matter what.

True, but in 1994-95 the Bulls were struggling and were in danger of missing the playoff until Jordan came back. That second year they just weren't the same.

Yes, but they still had success right after Jordan left.
Got to look at the season right after to know the impact a player had on a team. Because picks can bail you out

I dont think it is about how many titles one wins. Sure one would be great but most of it should be about how well they perform with their team. Do they make continuous playoff appearances? Do they do well most of the time? If so I think thats a pretty good career right there
