Its doesn't matter. Stupid thread to begin with.
All Lebron backers already think he is GOAT. All Jordan nut huggers/ Lebron haters think Lebron will never surpass MJ even if he wins 10 ships. Everyone else doesn't care........

So whats the point?

Lol you talk about memorable moments of Jordan and how lebron has none yet can't name any of jordans. Then when I say a Lebron moment you try to say 'see I told you they were memorable' implying it was Jordan. Lol at not knowing what you are talking about.

If this is such a stupid thread or no one cares why are you posting.

LOL, I had no idea that was one of Lebron's memorable moments. Did he win the finals with that 3 or something? I have no clue. Like I said, only memorable moment was the Dwade speed bag, thats about it.
If no matter what anyone says, you're still clinging on to Lebron's ball hairs, just keep doing it....no need to waste people's time.

LeBron never had the players around him that Jordan and Kobe did. Even now LeBron has never had anyone as good as Shaq or Pippen on his team.

I actually think Kobe had better supporting cast his first 3, but worst his last 2 compared to Lebron. Btw, Lebron did have Shaq on his team....just not the Diesel Shaq,

why do we value rings so much in a team game? If this was tennis, i would understand the ring thing, but these guys have teammates that they can't always control (unless they go to miami and then everybody craps on them).

Lebron got one of the worst teams in history to the finals, if he had stayed and only gotten to play with those guys his career/legacy would have been drastically altered.

It is really crazy to me that people think that jordan would have stayed his entire career with the bulls if they had surrounded him with players like boobie gibson, delonte west and zadrunas.

9 of Russell's 11 rings were in the 1960s which was one of the most competitive eras in NBA history. The league featured Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, etc.

How come they never come up?
Because 95% of these collectors did not even exist before Jordan came along, hence why they think Jordan is what do they call it ? GOAT

Clearly Bill should be discussed but these collectors where still swimming in sacks when Bill and co. dominated.

Ask yourself this, could Bill Russell (in his prime) even compete in the league today???
Could MJ (in his prime) dominate the league today???

That question gives you the answer to who is the G.O.A.T

Seriously, Bill was playing when my Dad was swimming in a sack. All I can go by is stories, rings and numbers. I've watched Jordan, Kobe and LeBron. I caught the tail-end of Bird and Magic, and they were also outstanding.

Bill is GOTE? (Greatest of the era)

Exactly what I am saying, people call MJ GOAT because most of us was in that era he played.
Just because we did not witness it does not discount how great they really where .( Russell etc....)

From being on the forums for a better part of 5 years , people call MJ the greatest because we grew up watching the most marketed player in history

Maybe older guy's can call Russell GOAT?

Why wouldn't he be able to compete today?

Are you for real ?

A lot of HOF players competed in Bill's era, basketball was rougher then , the question is could MJ have competed in that era?

Lol. Time to sling insults.

Still waiting for Jordan's memorable moments. Or do you want me to post some more of lebrons and have you agree they were me memorable Jordan moments.

I'm wondering if you have actually ever watched either of them. Lol

To be honest, you don't know the real answer to either of your questions. Both are just speculation.

Asking stupid "lets put player X into era X" is just that... #@#@#@#@ing stupid.

Kid, if you need to be reminded of Jordan's memorable finals moment AND all you can think of is Lebron's 'many' finals highlights from his 1 championship, then you must be under 13 years old, LOL. Sorry you weren't born yet to witness MJ championship years.....here's some finals highlights for you.

Yea, please post more of Lebron's Finals highlights so some of us older dudes can compare them to MJ's and start off our Sunday with a good laugh right off the bat.

I think lumping 2-6 together was a bad option.

I'd say 3 is a good number. Isn't that what they say? 3 is a pattern?

1 or 2 is nice, but I think 3 is the golden number!

So Wade and Bosh are just common players and not considered franchise players?

Instead of focussing on Kobes first 3, how about his last 2? Kobe had had anyone like Wade/Bosh combo for his last 2 rings. But I guess we dont discuss that tho right? Oh wait, this is where Gasol and MWP become HOFer type players to down play Kobes championships lol. And Derek Fisher becomes a top player in the NBA as the kicker!
