Tough loss for the Lakers.

Really thought Kobe got fouled on that last shot. He definitely got undercut which last time I checked wasn't allowed

tough loss. looks like the jazz will lose though too (jazz stink!) a huge 3 by kobe to get it to one but a little bit of a sore loser for kobe to leave early to the locker room before the game was over. and please don't say it was 'the injury'.

Oh hey, another post by Murrke!

So there's two threads on Miami's winning streak which he hasn't posted in, but he continues to post in the Lakers thread!

I think Murrke is a closet Laker lover!

I thought I was on ignore? Did you miss me that much?

At least you agree Kobe was a little bit of a sore loser?

Kobe Bryant rolls ankle on Dahntay Jones: Los Angeles Lakers at Atlanta Hawks - YouTube

Clearly a foul. Gotta give a guy room on a jump shot, you can't move up on him like that.

Clearly a history there also as Jones is making a habit of trying to hurt Kobe.

Dirtiest move in basketball = stepping in on a guy taking a jump shot and him landing on the players foot so he rolls his ankle.

Jones is officially a bum in my book. He's mad he can't guard him. He obviously affected his follow through(Which is a foul).

Yep. And there was nothing subtle about it. As soon as Kobe elevated he crowded him to the point of actually making contact with Kobe's lower body while he was in the air.

Awful game by the Lakers and Kobe certainly struggled, but you're right, at the end of the day Kobe should have had two free throws to tie the game.

I wouldn't doubt he did that on purpose

Jalen Rose admitted to doing the same thing to Kobe back in the 2000 Finals.

^ 11-33 yeah he defiantly had a rough game. I think Kobe is getting a little tired whether he admits it or not

Look where Kobe elevates and when the play is over Jones is pretty much past that spot meaning he went right through Kobe.

@LakersReporter: Kobe said this is as bad a sprain as he's had since 2000 playoffs.

Such a shame. Every player knows that's about the dirtiest thing you can do in a game because it creates such a high chance of injury. I think it was very obvious Jones was trying to injure Kobe on that play.

Wow, hope not. That would be a horrible way to end a season. Injuries happen and that's part of the game, but not what Jones did, which was intentionally try to end Kobe's season.

looks like a bad play on both players, jones steps in on him and kobe sticks the leg out, both are fouls, so its a good no call. i hope kobe isnt out for 2 long, but he does need some rest for how much he's been trying to carry the lakers recently.
