When a player fades away like that his leg is going to stick out every time, it's a natural movement. Jones makes me sick doing this. It's the lowest thing you can do in a game, especially on an all time great.

And Jones didn't just run into Kobe's leg that kicked out, he literally invaded Kobe's space that he took off from. If Kobe's leg doesn't come out, Jones still runs into him

Seems like he might miss the rest of the season. Let's see how the Laker's play without him... Hopefully he is good for playoffs

He says that, but I've already posted two videos of him tripping Kobe, and pushing Kobe in the back on a dunk attempt, so clearly he's just an idiot

He only missed 1 game when that happened, of course he's a lot older now, but knowing Kobe he will be back soon. Also he gave Dwight crap about playing injured, now its his turn.

Just curious, would anyone be saying this was a foul on Jones if he didnt have this history with Kobe or if Kobe didnt get hurt?

Well Kobe playing through injuries has never been a problem, but there's a big difference between playing with an injury like Howard's, which I believe was at a point where it couldn't get hurt more, and playing on a sprained ankle

absolutely. it's a foul to undercut a player taking a jump shot regardless of injury or past issues

Jalen Rose did it to Kobe in the finals, and he explains it here.

Jalen Rose Intentionally Injured Kobe Bryant - YouTube

Very similar, Jones knew exactly what he was doing

I have been told its only a foul if its called a foul. The refs don't swallow their whistles when Kobe is fouled. And as was stated, Kobe kicked his right leg out. Doesn't matter if thats a natural movement or not, he still made slight contact with Jones on it. Both players made contact so good no call

Thing is though, Jones barely touched Kobe's leg. He ran through Kobe's body. Running THROUGH a player is a foul every time.

aaah, ok, so if a guy gets hit on the arm when shooting but there's no call, then the foul never happened?

You have been told it's only a foul when it's called a foul? Lol is that a joke? So you mean the Refs get the foul called right 100 percent of the time

Yep, I have had fans of other teams on these boards tell me that after I have pointed out no calls against the Bucks.

Yup just like Kobe fouling Lebron in the all star game, which Kobe fans seemed to completely ignore. Kind of ironic how it comes around.

As for the play. Def. unfortunate and maybe it was intentional maybe not. I've seen this happen both ways. One thing is I would be shocked if Kobe is out for the season.

Really JOnes?

You didnt intentionally push kobe with two hands when he went up for a dunk to hurt him?

You didnt purposely trip him when he out hustled you on a play to the rim?

So those were on purpose but this one wasnt? LOL. Comical coming from a guy that has been caught playing dirty before.

THe best part of the video is how he doesnt even attempt to block the shot as he barely even jumps with kobe. He literally just moves forward into Kobe to get his legs between kobes so he comes down on him.

Damn dirty.

I would if it hurt the player. Any player that comes down and rolls their ankle because the defender steps in would be defended by me.

How about raja bell clothes lining Kobe. You think its okay to clothesline kobe but it wouldnt be called if it was another player? Come on now. Dirty is dirty, no matter what player you do it to.

As for the clown trying to compare this to an All star game, seriously? Trolling right along.

Clown? Are you calling me a clown?

Somehow in the all star game Kobe was a defensive genius by stopping Lebron but when clearly looked at it was a foul. Now that its reversed and Kobe got fouled with no call its time to point it out and moan about it.

Interesting...
