Problem is Paul, Panini isn't acknowledging these on their own site and checklist as being part of the set. On top of sports card radio and cardboard connection having the incorrect information listed. They both say golds are /25 when Panini as already came out and said they switched that (again) and they are now /10

If I cannot get the card from the hobby box then it is not part of the set IMO.

Exactly right. It is in no way part of the regular set as has been mentioned when it cannot not be pulled from packs. It was only included in a promotional product at the Summit. If that doesnt speak promo I dont know what does.

The green selects will be chased by player collectors. A lot of high end buyers like to focus on "pack pulled" cards more so than promo cards. While they are limited its not the same as a pack pulled card in my opinion.

That coupled with the fact that they started out high in price, there is no room for speculation for me to buy them

So if you had some boxes, would you sell now or hold them?

This. Cardboard Connection etc. can list any cards they want but until Panini list them on their official checklist then they'll always be promo cards.

I don't think these Greens are promo cards at all....they are available in black boxes and part of the Select set just as the Green refractors are part of the Prizm set and available only in retail.

There's a difference between retail-only parallels and cards only available through special PROMOTIONAL packs only available to dealers/distributors/etc.
