Heck of a game by Lebron!

Kinda sucks he's probably done for the night, but great game all the same!

Great game from Lebron and the Heat have officially clinched the Eastern Conference #1 seed tonight.

The most important thing now, is to stay healthy and prepare for the Playoffs.

If you need to sit out Lebron, Wade, and some other guys in the final games....then they should definitely do that.

On a side note, I just hope they can win at least 5 more games from their remaining 10 games to set a new franchise record.

What about home court in the NBA finals?

You mean the #1 seed overall...

No, the Spurs are only 2 games behind the Heat, so they have not clinched that.

If they can beat the Spurs on Sunday night, that would help a lot though.

But like Lebron said in the Post game interview....the most important thing for the Heat is to stay healthy going into the playoffs.

That's why I think you sit out the "Big 3" in the final 2 games or so.

all these years and he's never had more than 56 points in a game, and that was against the crappy raptors over 8 years ago.

There are other facets to the game than scoring, Lebron is a willing passer/scorer/defender.
I rather have that, than volume scorer

And to think how amazing it is that he is the youngest player to 10k and 20k points, yet his highest scoring game was only 56

Is any comment that can possibly be misconstrued as negative about LeBron trolling? Jeez, some of you guys...

It's actually interesting that as dominating as LeBron is, his career high is only 56. He doesn't have too many "extreme" games (50+ or <20), but he is sure incredibly consistent.

if you don't smooch lebron's butt like some of these guys, then of course you are a troll. these guys have no other come back, so they resort to name-calling (and completely unoriginal name-calling at that). i guess i better start puckering up if i want to fit in.

Youngest player to 10k and 20k points yet only scored 56 as his highest. Thats all that needs to be said.

If Lebron wanted to he could lead the league in scoring , but his unselfishness stops him from that. He is the most complete player this game has ever seen. Stop the hating and give him his due

Lebron could probably average 35 a game if he played selfish like some of the other stars in the league.

He isn't a volume and as pure of a scorer as some guys. He is a playmaker and that is why he doesn't have huge huge games as often

Wow.

I think Lebron is the best in the league, but to say he's the most complete player in NBA history? I'm not quite ready to go there yet.

And I agree, Lebron could lead the league in scoring if he wanted, and while unselfishness is good, we've also seen cases of Lebron passing up the big shot, which for someone as talented as he is, probably isn't the best play.

It is the best pay if Lebron's being double/triple teamed and he has the option of finding an open player.

Exactly. I always thought it was kind of dumb to blame Lebron when he would get doubled and he'd throw it to a guy for a wide open shot. Somehow it became his fault if his teammate couldn't hit a easy shot.

I agree to a certain extent. Lebron is incredible at getting to the basket and either getting to the foul line or making a shot even against double teams. As much as the "right" basketball play is to find the open guy, I still think in a situation like that I'd rather have lebron driving and trying to score rather than an open jumper from someone. If it's wade open it's different, but I'd like to see him attack more with the game on the line

I don't think anyone ever said it was his fault for the missed shot, I think they just want to see Lebron be Lebron late in games, which means drive and attack.

And I think it was people questioning his killer instinct. They were questioning whether or not he even wanted the pressure of taking the last shot

Yes people that don't understand the game of basketball.

In what situation does it make sense to force a crappy shot when you can have a teammate shoot a wide open shot?

All that really matters is the win, Lebron doesn't put himself in that position. And the reason he passes its because its the best decision at that time.

Why would you want to shoot a low percentage shot when you know you will be double teamed? Just to impress those that question "Killer instinct"?

Trust in your teammates.

Clutch is winning in the first 3 quarters

But why is it a low percentage shot?

Lebron gets double teamed quite often I'd imagine and he's always shot a very good percentage
