Great thread!
This means that if you buy a case you have a 1 in 90 chance of hitting a Kyrie Prime.
Buying a box would be a 1 in 900 chance

that's a bigger print run than either Prizm or Select. probably not going to go up in price any time soon.

I'd say 2,100 cases or so. You know how Panini holds back product for redemptions and whatnot. Awesome work btw, I started to do the calc a few days ago but got so fed up with the Panini website that I gave up haha.

Thanks But
The probability of hiting a Kyrie is so much less than that...

This is an opinion oriented forum. Just like those who love a product have the right to regard it, those who dislike it have the right to trash it.

Here's the run down

Pumpers- Those who have love every panini product, no matter what, and consistently report on how well they're selling. Also those who post their amazing breaks while omitting their poor ones. Largely believed to have some sort of personal profitable interest in pumping product.

Trashers- Those who never like any panini product, long for the UD and Topps days.

Conspiracy Theorist- Those who make claims on a product, based on their opinion. These opinions can neither be proved nor disproved.

Fact checkers- Those who post facts about the hobby, provide detailed breakdowns of print runs and product analysis. Those who offer undeniable facts on specific cards or products.

Blinders- Those who disregard the possibility of their cards being counterfeit, manipulated, or with QA mistakes. These people truly do turn a blind eye to the problems plaguing the hobby. They believe what they want to believe.

Collector- Those who are either PC or Team Collectors, also those who either bust product without ever selling any of their hits or buy singles with no intention of ever selling their cards. They care very little on wether or not they are overpaying a little if it's a card they want. These are very very hard to come by.

Flippers and Case Breakers- Those who look at the hobby strictly from a business perspective. If they buy a single, they try to sell it for more. If they trade, they try to lowball. If they bust product, the immediately sell everything.

There are 25 Kyrie Primes and 2250 cases.
2250 / 25 = 90. What am I missing?

90 cases x 10 boxes per case = 1/900 chance of getting that card from 1 box. Nice

You got it the other way around.
25 prime silhoettes / 2,250 cases
Equals =0.01111= to 1.1% chance to pull a Prime patch Kyrie!
Whew! That is a hard pull!

Thats the odds of buying a case
1.1% wow!

Reverse the math though and it still equals about 1 in 90 cases.

1.111111 x 90 = 100% (mathematically) of getting the Kyrie, or if you really want to bring it into perspective $162,000 of breaking before you're mathematically "guaranteed" to hit a Kyrie prime.

MSRP of the product is $4,050,000... Meaning probably around $3 million for Panini... I wish I knew how much they paid their athletes and spent on presses and marketing so I could roughly calculate their profit.

Wasn't there a thread started that had 2 of these in 1 case. So math is right, QC is way off.......

I'm not going to argue that QC stinks at Panini, but if you assume 2,250 cases and 50 1/1 booklets, there is actually a 42.2% chance that there is more than 1 booklet in AT LEAST one case. (assuming all the collation was done randomly by a machine)

Math: (2250*2249*2248...*2203*2202*2201) / (2250^50) = 57.8% chance that no single case has more than one 1/1 booket.

Awesome! Dang so it may seem that A 5k kyrie is a bargain for now.
Wow!
And those tags....
102 1/1 booklets
22500/102 roughly you have to buy 225 boxes or $45000 for $200 msrp
1/1 booklet $45,000
So the finals of $9,999 is a good price !

I'm not surprised by the Kyrie at all, I am surprised at several of the others though.
