Thats a huge misconception. He didnt take anyone anywhere. Infact, DH12 has never led the Magic. He was never the leader. This year was a prime example that the issue of not winning it all doesnt lie on having support around him, it lies in the lack of qualities found in DH12 needed to go the distance.

oh yeah so who led the magic to the finals that year, hedo? lol If you think dwight howard was the problem with this lakers team than you dont know basketball...This team wasnt winning anything considering they had no bench at all, two old slow guys who cant stay in front of anyone (artest nash) and not to mention kobe getting hurt before the playoffs. But yeah lets blame it all on that punk dwight howard and get rid of him, im sure lakers will be awesome next year

Kevin Harlan is tough to listen to. Why were the announcers talking about Kobe and Pau like they were buddies? Kobe talks constant bull turds about Pau.

Nah, just saying that with Kobe out, I didn't feel Dwight was fit to lead this team.

I don't think anyone on here would argue differently

shaq, russell, hakeem, wilt arent fit to lead a team with goudelock and darius morris starting, i dont think you will argue with that right? And 38 year old steve nash and artest arent much better

Oh I'm not saying the Lakers should have won this series by any means, just saying that I can't see Dwight being a leader on a championship team. I know he's come close, but he's still immature and needs to play less emotional. He picks up too many stupid/frustration fouls and can't even stay in games because of that.

He could one day develop into a good leader, but he's got some work to do first

The Magic would have never made it to the finals that year if Garnett wouldn't have gotten injured that year. It took them 7 games to beat a Celtics team without Garnett and they swept Orlando the next year with a healthy Garnett. Plus Turkoglu was the Leader of that team, especially in the playoffs.

They had none. Cinderella team in my opinion. Weak east mixed with a bunch of luck got them there. No leader though.

I understand you need to force the theory that if the team loses dont blame DH12. But if the team wins, you focus the reason all on DH12. This year is another example. For a guy that you consider to have a ton of leadership qualities, he didnt do much once Kobe the true leader went down. What happened?

Kobe promised playoffs. He got them there. He led them there. As soon as Kobe gets them there and goes does, your leader DH12 doesnt show and gets swept?

But you have insisted the problem on the team has always been Kobe and now DH12. Well now here is DH12 and no Kobe, and what happend? 4 game sweep?

I think you made that all up. Never said Dwight was a great leader...

No leader for the Magic. Interesting thought...

Then who do you think was the leader on the Magic when they made a run in the playoffs?

Silence from you shows exactly what your intention was. When will you finally take a stance? Or is sitting on the fence the best you can do so you can instigate wars?

I didnt say it! Where did I say it. I never said that, wait when did I say that.

The Lakers disspaointing season is a mixture of multiple problems and not one person deserves the blame.

Who are you?

I went to bed. Impatient much?

Howard was their leader. That doesn't make him a great leader though.

So where was DH12 this series against the Spurs. Where was this monster of a player who you kept telling us was being held back because of Kobe and his ISO ball play?

Now that kobe was injured and no longer apart of the rotation, how come DH12 didnt come out to shine?

Im wondering what happend?

He averaged 20 and 12 in the first three games. Not terrible.

The problem was the Lakers playing with the worst guard lineup in playoff history.

Did you expect dwight to lead a team like that over the spurs? Pretty unfair expectations.
