Default the next 25 autos

alright so i made a thread a while ago about the nba's 75th anniversary
and who would be the next 25 added to the list of 50 greatest

we wont know who will be added until they actually make the list but i think we have a few cant miss

and with a duncan auto on the way , figured i would show the autos of who i have already
if they make the list of 75 these guys have to be on it , so im getting a jump start..lol

i need to upgrade this to on card

duncan on the way, iverson and garnett i think are also locks but i still need them..lol

I appreciate the dedication to your fandom but top 25? Here is 25 players, I will let you knock one off to pop Dirk in there.

Jordan, Kareem, Barkley, Wilt, Russell, Magic, Bird, Olajuwon, Karl Malone, Stockton, Drexler, Pippen, Oscar Robertson, West, Mikan, Roinson, Shaq, Elgin Baylor, Dr J, Kobe, Lebron, Reggie Miller, Ewing, KG, Duncan.

I'm not saying these are the top 25 but I am saying I would take any of those guys before Dirk & twice on Sunday.

Fair point, replace Reggie with Durant.

Dirk is no doubt a Top 25 Player ever - His stats (Should be Top 6 - 10 in scoring in 2 or so years), Playoff Stats (25 -10), consistency winning + making playoffs so many years make him better than guys like Stockton, Drexler, Reggie Miller, Ewing, etc. ... You can not underestimate his 2011 Championship either getting it done as the only Star

Dirk's career isn't appreciated by a lot of people simply because they weren't paying attention to him much until he won in 2011 and then everybody went crazy over him ... Dirk from 2000 - Present is a Top 3 - 4 Playoff Performer and that counts for a lot

Dominique did not make it to the top 50 the first time around so I doubt he would make the 75th anniversary team. He was too one dimensional and never won big in the league.

Dirk is a lock. He has had a better career than half of the top 50.

Chris Paul is borderline right now. If he puts together a good 6-7 year run he's in otherwise he will come up a little short.

Kobe, Duncan, Miller, Pierce, Garnett, Iverson, Lebron, Wade, Howard, Kidd, Allen, Durant, and Parker are locks right now.

Manu, Gasol, Carmelo are borderline but will probably make it to fill out the 25.

maybe I am a bit biased but:

and I personally don't think Pau Gasol or Manu Ginobili will make it into the next 25 without having any other ideas.

Great list of players but I would 100% bump Reggie from there for Dirk. Reggie is one of the most over rated players of all time. He was a very one dimensional player. If you are going to take an elite shooter, give me one that is 7' and can score from the perimeter or the post. The rest of the list I cannot argue with one bit.

I agree that Dirk isn't a Top 25 all time player. He is 100% a top 75 guy though. You can't say there are 25 players to enter the league since 96(or in the case of that 'Nique above, left off the original list) that are better than Dirk.

hey guys i love the discussion on who should and who shouldnt be on the list
keep it up

now ill defend mine
dominique- may be borderline but i think 25 is a lot of players to pick and i think they will add a few guys that many feel were left off the top 50

dirk - no doubt i agree with what cg1980 said top 25 no - top 75 no doubt

hazenuts - nice list but im not sure gasol is top 75 ever i like him but i think he will fall short

Glove is one of the most underrated players around. It's like time has forgotten him. Arguably the best defensive point ever and I would say yes, top 75.

Default Bob McAdoo

What about the 3-time scoring champ, Bob McAdoo?
Besides winning the scoring title 3 seasons in a row (1973-74,'74-75, & '75-76), he was ROY in 1972-73, MVP in 1974-75 and 2-time world champion (1981-'82 & '84-'85).
Career averages of 22.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
