Default Basketball at the Nationals

Hey guys got some questions for you all. Where and when are the Nationals this year? And is it worth it to go if you only collect basketball? Do they have all the newer basketball too (like Jimmer) and are the no boxes cheaper than normal? Any info would be appreciated and feedback. Thanks!

This years National is 7/31-8/4 in Rosemont, IL. Not sure how far that is away from you. There will be a solid selection of basketball, especially the newer guys, but usually you won't get much of a price break on boxes (but you might get lucky).

I went last year and the year before when it was in Baltimore (live right outside the city) and I really enjoyed it. Didn't end up buying any basketball myself, but I bought a few pieces of auto'ed memorabilia.

The National is also really cool just to see all of the rediculously awesome things and to network with other guys in the hobby!

Go. In Chicago the BK is especially strong. More-so than in Baltimore.

It's National. Not Nationals. It's not a cheerleading competition.

I went for the first time last year and it was awesome. Just such a good time to be around all those cards! It is way better for baseball than it is for basketball but there were some great tales for both modern and vintage ball. They are few and far between but they are there.

I collect basketball only these days and will likely be going form NYC. Is just that much fun.

Lou Malnati's is my favorite deep dish around here. No disrespect to D Rose and his pies. If you're from Chicago, all you see is D Rose billboards for Giordano's.
