His fault though, he might get a ring out of it.
If younger means keeping Jordan Crawford, then I would rather have Diva Allen. I do not think it is going to happen though.

Jordan Crawford is exactly what you need off the bench. Instant offense. ANd hes young and cheap.

Ray Allen has looked cooked for two years now. Only gonna get worse.

Young and cheap...yes. Instant offense....not really. All set with guys that average 1 pt per shot and cannot defend.

I like Crawford as a 9th man, but not much more...he Han be a checker and needs to learn to defend in the perimeter.

Surprised to hear this.

DEVELOPING: Doc Rivers believes it "may be time for a change" in his status as Celtics coach, source told @Chris_Broussard.

Doc Rivers is really disappointing me if this is true. He is being a giant hypocrite. Why the f*ck did he sign the contract when he knew full well what was coming.

I hope he comes back, but I am severely disappointed in how this is going.

If he goes, KG retires, Pierce is gone and the rebuild happens no matter what.

I can only imagine how pissed Danny is too. Good coaches are out there and Doc's pussyfooting around wasting time if thats whats gonna happen.

If he leaves it is because the team is in semi rebuild. Not sure the quality of replacement coach will matter. Still think he returns but having more doubts.

I can understand trading KG if we get something good back. Losing Doc would suck.

Also would not be shocked if the Rondo camp used this as leverage to get an extension and maximize $$$.

I think they should trade KG and Doc plus maybe Terry or Lee and get Deandre Jordan and Bledsoe plus the 2 first round pick. They should keep Paul Pierce for the remainder of his contract (his been the face of the franchise for almost a decade now). Try to flip maybe Bledsoe or Rondo for another star and call it a day. They can probably trade Bledsoe for Millsap. At this point who knows what Danny Ainge is thinking.

Sounds like they are positioning themselves for Josh Smith with this Clippers deal.

He wants a max contract and he isn't worth that. He can't be a top player on a championship caliber team.

Rondo is going to go absolutely nuts next year. Huge chip on his shoulder, and I bet Ainge locks him up.

This is now Rondo's team, him and Ainge will ride or die together.

And yes I think its going to be a Josh Smith move, him and Rondo are super BFF's.

"Griffin’s inclusion in the package is the only way an exchange can work for the Celtics. He, Bledsoe and Butler would be fair value for Pierce, Garnett and Rivers. Particularly if the Celtics were to take Bledsoe, Celtics forward Brandon Bass and possibly another player and send them to the Atlanta Hawks in a sign and trade for forward Josh Smith."
I wouldn't mind this idea that Boston Celtics Rumors: All Of The Sudden, Steven A. Smith Doesn?t Sound So Crazy suggests. Starting lineup of
C- Jordan
PF: Griffin, Sullinger
SF: Smith, Green
SG: Bradley
PG Rondo

No one on this team can shoot from the perimeter consistently. It would also be a pretty and free shooting team. There are some good players but the puzzle doesn't fit for me. Rondo needs people around him who can hit shots.

Yeah outside and FT would be poor, but who did the Celtics have this(12-13) year as a consistent outside shooter?
