Still way over the cap, and I expect Pierce to be extended for another year and go out with KG. As far as AK, I am guessing he got some nice land in Mother Russia from Prokhy

Eh, I wouldnt be surprised if Pierce is a one year thing, or even if KG retires. Just because his deal next year is guaranteed doesnt mean much.

And I doubt Pierce wants to continue his career backing up Joe Johnson, I bet he goes out to LA to finish up after this year. Even if he "starts" next year or even this year, he will wear down a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pierce doesn't return to the Nets after next year, but I don't know why the Lakers would want him, unless they strike out on all their targets.

Oh I see, reuniting with Doc. I'm still not really used to the Clippers being good.

Clippers or Golden State. I think he finishes up out in Cali regardless of what happens next year with the Nets.

And he has 2-3 years tops left in him, regardless of what he says. Hence why using him for 15-25 minutes a game is key. He literally died on the court in the playoffs last year.

More likely he is getting the money through backdoor channels in Russia.

They all seemed to have a good attitude. KG seemed excited.

Pierce seemed like he was gonna cry. I dont think its hit him yet that he's not in Boston. Im predicting tears on the court in his first game back.

I bet Brooklyn is flooded with people trying to go buy a Jason Terry jersey today

Yea, he seemed kind of melancholy, which is totally understandable.

I liked how whenever Garnett or Pierce were talking about their Celtic teammates, they said "Myself, Kevin, Rondo....... And Jason"

Ugh, Toko needs knee surgery.

Not that he'd play much anyway, but he's one of my favorites.

The way he played in Summer League, I am seriously questioning if he makes the team. Mike Snaer got a camp invite, and if he performs, I can see Toko getting sent to the D-League or being cut, as we don't need a 15th guy because of how high the tax would be.

In an article I read, it said that he had been having knee problems since the end of last year. Maybe that had something to do with his poor performance. Then again, he should've known not to play if that was the case.

Haha it's all good. I think he's better off on the Celtics, at least for his minutes. I don't think he will explode, but he should have a very nice season.

I personally wish the best for Marshon. He was one of the few bright spots during the dismal last year in Jersey

Brook Lopez is their only hope
Paul Pierce is old
D Will has bad ankles
Garnett is a bitch and will ruin the "team"
Joe Johnson could care less whether he wins a game. This is known. He likes to shoot.

Troll some more please?

D-Will will be fine. Pierce and KG are older, but are still better than over half of the league at their positions. JJ will have to accept a new role, or he will be the weak point of the time.

I love that no one is talking about the bench mob.

Shaun Livingston/Jason Terry/AK47/Mirza or Reggie/Blatche is a nasty second unit. Add in Plumlee and Alan Anderson and this is one of the top benches in the NBA.

First preseason game of the year tonight!

I wonder if Kidd will go with Tyshawn at the point tonight to let the second unit in tact. I heard them talking about that this week.

Pretty fun game to watch. Mirza looked pretty good. Alan Anderson impressed me too.
