Default I need help settling an argument. All opinions appreciated

My friend and I have made teams using current nba rosters. Let me know whose team you think is better and why. Your results will decide the winner. Consider players ages but don't consider their injuries.

Team one
Kyrie Irving pg
Kevin Durant sg
Kawai Lenard
Noah pf
Hibbert c

Reserves
Blake griff
Seth curry
Serge ibaka
Jimmy butler
Paul George
Klaus Thompson

Team 2
Rajon rondo
Kobe
Lebron
Tim Duncan
Dirk

Reserves
Melo
Tony Parker
Kevin love
D wade
Dwight
Russell Westbrook

So in a seven game series who wins and why.

We are stuck in a car for 8 more hours so please post for our entertainment

team 2, not even close

7 MVP's combined, 17 championships on team 2. Team 1 has none.

Team 2 hands down, age doesn't matter! I'd love to see that 7 game series though!

The argument for us is team two doesn't have spot up shooters and is older which hurts defense and team one is to inexperienced and not enough scorers.

Team 2 definitely. They have dirk, melo, Kevin love, Kobe that's plenty of shooting.

And defensively they have two amazing guaards(rondo, Parker) lebron who can block just about anything and is athletic, and Timmy and Dwight as the center shot blocker

I would actually say team 1. Yes, team 2 has more 'star' power, more rings between them, but that doesn't mean that automatically guarantees them a win.

I can see Rondo and Duncan working amazingly together, but other than that the rest of the roster is full of guys who need the ball to score. You really think Kobe, Lebron, Dirk, Melo, K Love, D Wade, Dwight, and Russell can work together? Plus team 2's defense is horrible. Only 2 (maybe 3 including Kobe) who are above average defenders are Lebron and Dwight.

Plus, team 2's starting lineup has 3 guys over the age of 34.

Team 1 starters are young, and Noah, Hibbert, and Leonard are all amazing role/wing players who can feed off Durant and Irving who would do the bulk of the scoring. I would sub out Leonard for Paul George though.

Most importantly, team 1 can play D. D wins championships, not the O, not star power, not how much they throw up the ball, not how many rings they've already won.

Summary: Team 2 has more talent, but I take team 1 in a 7 game series because they know how to play together, are younger (will last longer), and most importantly they play D.

Are you guys mad? Team 1 has SETH CURRY! They also have the German superstar Klaus Thompson! Team 1 would murder them.

In all seriousness, I see where you would be trying to go with Team 1, but I think they'd get handled by Team 2 - especially as both Dirk and Duncan would draw out the centers and leave the key open for Lebron to eat up.

Thanks guys. Looks like I lost. I like defense and with lenord and butler would let kd focus on offense. Noah can move his feet better then any big and Roy is to big for them Inside. Thanks for all the post I will put up our football draft in a little bit.
