How long is shipping from the Philippines?

Won some cards from a guy in the Philippines that were shipped June 26th and it still says "Origin post is Preparing Shipment." I believe they were shipped with just regular mail so I knew it wouldn't be quick, but didn't know if some members had bought from there and remember it taking a while?

AlabamaSlamma 07-12-2013 10:32 AM

if its standard mail, you may be looking at up to a month.

I bought from Caloocan City...

Whos the seller?. Wait within 2 weeks bro. As i said registered or regular it will arrived within that time. If more than 2 weeks then u gotta wave red flag. I believe most of the cards i shipped are recieved in a week. I received feedback earlier than expected sometimes

I don't want to say the seller yet because I don't want to give him a bad name. If the USPS website says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment, does that mean that it has for sure been shipped by the seller?

Did they send with tracking? I dont understand u said twas just a regular mail. Then u have a usps web.

If so preparing means its still in the ph or already on the way there. Ph post is not accurate on those things

I apoligize! It is registered. I just saw that it said registered on the USPS website. It still says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment though.

GoldenBoy23 07-12-2013 11:05 AM

Philpost is not accurate.

Its either still in the ph
On the way
Or already in the US now.

Wait 2 weeks. :)!:)!:)!

rhigh2390 07-12-2013 11:07 AM

2 more weeks? Its said Origin Post is Preparing Shipment since June 27th...

GoldenBoy23 07-12-2013 11:09 AM

No wait 2 weeks since the day twas shipped. June 27th.

rhigh2390 07-12-2013 11:11 AM

2 weeks was yesterday. Does the "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" status mean though that the seller has at least taken it to the post office to be shipped? Or could he still have the package?

Koiz 07-12-2013 11:34 AM

I think it's already been received at the post office since june 27. Like goldenboy said, sometimes it's not that accurate. I agree with alabamaslamma, you should give it a month. 3 weeks all together if your lucky. But don't be alarmed for 2 weeks.

I remember one time sending cards to the Philippines and a month later, the guy said he never got his cards. I was so upset but we decided to wait longer. After 3 months his packaged arrived. He even sent me pictures because it was sent to Thailand by mistake. The fact the recipient had the honesty/integrity to send it back to the post office for it to be delivered to the guy in the Philippines was something else.

I know right? This was probably in my first year of using SCF, HK to do trades.

Dwade Collector 07-12-2013 02:02 PM

Yep, give it a month. 3-4 weeks should be an accurate time frame from my past experiences. Please keep us updated and don't forget to post your mailday! :)!

benz35 07-12-2013 02:12 PM

rhigh2390 07-15-2013 01:50 AM

Thanks for your post! Tomorrow it will have been 3 weeks since it shipped and it still says origin post is preparing shipment. Hoping it gets it within the next week or two.
