Incoming! Newest Arrivals Add More Pop to 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball . . .
Jul 17th 2013, 22:11, by Tracy Hackler

It’s amazing sometimes just how much set-developing magic can unfold in the span of four crazy days. To illustrate that point, we submit to you below the staggeringly good selection of 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball autographs that have hit Panini America HQ in the roughly 96 hours since we posted our most recent visual update on Saturday.
Anthony Davis. Harrison Barnes. Bradley Beal. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. David Robinson. Steve Nash. That’s the short list of men whose collection-making National Treasures cornerstones are, as we speak, on their way to the Panini America production facility to be introduced into the packout process; that process begins in earnest tomorrow.

So as a means of helping us all pass the time until the release of 2012-13 Signatures Basketball (one week from today) and 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball (two weeks from today), we just couldn’t help but share the treasured fruits of the last four days. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance in the coming days, when we’ll come to you directly from the production facility floor.

Hmmm not enough gold foil, the product is too plain, some of the autos aren't even centered, patch windows are too big, some of the patches are only two colored or only has two or three breaks, Seriously? Monroe logoman? Who want's that?, only one David Robinson? wth?

Terrible product

I gotta admit that Davis inscription is bad ass. I just wish he would have wrote it a little neater.

There's too much white space and they didn't use any gold foil at all. This looks like a $150 product.

I'm also very confused by this. You could argue they are not being used properly, or that the patches could be better, but too big should never be a problem

all of these cards look awesome.... but where are the other sets? colossals and NBA gear etc...?

seems like this years NT is gonna be pretty dry aside from the bland (compared to previous years) logomans and RAPs (prolly best to date)

Grant hill is Springfield bound ... If he takes a bus there.

I know the argument for but I side with the argument against him being in the basketball HOF

Edit: but to stay on topic, the Barnes RAP looks incredible !

The horizontal logos are the "Colossal" insert ... at least that's what's printed on the card. But I know what you mean.

I have to say the exact opposite lol.

I think the 1/1 stamp looks MUCH better than the "OneOfOne" script ... I think the script looks cheesy and not crisp at all!

And yes, sorry I was being sarcastic as all the previews before this is what people were complaining about. I just wanted to sum up everything for them when they see the thread.

I can't lie... these are some of the nicest cards I've seen in years. Nice clean design... big on card signatures... stunning! Lol I wish I could afford to open a box or two.

I agree. I wonder if they didn't want to copy Upper Deck, or if it was some sort of legality issue? I wouldn't think so, but perhaps.

The 1of1 with the "of" in script font looks really nice when smooth and spaced out correctly.

I really don't like how LJ did his notable nickname

The Davis looks tight, I wish he would have spaced it out somehow like that

At least he wrote his name this year instead of just "Grandmama"

Saw some of these getting signed at summer league in vegas. Panini was getting autos from Harrison barnes and thomas robinson there. There were hundreds of cards getting signed.
