This actually looks like a good product, however YET AGAIN, Panini ruin a great idea with their production... Why do you need 3 logomen of the same player??? A six logoman card would be amazing, but not if each half is exactly the same...

These look nothing short of amazing! While this makes yet another new release for 2012-13, this one is gladly welcome.

Looks Great - Panini wouldn't actually put 3 logoman of the same player on a card though, would they? ...

I'm hoping this was just a preview of how the cards are designed and the players have no significance on the logoman

Thats what I was thinking. That pic looks like a mock up design of a 6 way logoman and not an actual card.

The only it makes sense is that all 3 logomen come from different jerseys. That is, one from Home, one from Away, and one from Alternate.

They posted on the blog that most of the six logo cards have six different players.

That would only make sense if they showed some of the jersey around the logoman. Otherwise how would you know?

I think it's pretty boneheaded by panini to have 3 logomans from the same player on one card. With that being said I would definitely have to pick it up if they made one for my PC guy

Just saw the blog.. kind of funny when the question is asking "A" or "B". And Tracy picks "Not B" rather than asking straight-forward "A". Yeah, "Game-Worn"...no one knows about it.

Q: Just to make sure we’re not falling into the Black Box situation. Are those Logomen Game-Worn or Manufactured?

Tracy Hackler: Fair question. These are not manufactured Logomen.

I can confidently say that there hasnt been any game worn stuff since 2000 in NBA products.

When GU jersey cards fell 1:2500 packs or 1 per case, it was game worn. When they fall 5:1 per pack, it becomes event worn!

Event-worn = MUCH cheaper than game-worn!

In all honesty though, in my opinion, who the hell cares?

Most of us are weirdos for spending hundreds and thousands of hard-earned dollars on pieces of cardboard with ink/clothing on/in them.

The way I see it, event-worn allows for more "relic" cards, and quicker production. Plus the lower cost for the company translates into lower product cost for the consumer. ...... WELL, in most cases! However, Panini is simply extorting the market at this point with the overpriced, insanely frequent high-end releases.

But this hobby has morphed into a business so badly over the past few years since Panini's introduction ... everything is MONEY now!

I wonder if this is one of those products you should get locked-in to now.

$2k a case

Configuration: 6 boxes per case. 1 pack per box. 6 cards per pack.
Hits per Box: 4

So 24 hits for $2k, so almost $85 per hit. Even as a group break, its not going to be cheap.

THIS should have been named '2012-13 Absolute Memorabilia'. We could have done without there previous attempt at that product earlier this year.

This is a really impressive looking product. I seriously was not expecting this much win when I clicked on the thread.
