the greats subset with the sig 'floating' above the top/bottom patch windows are exceptional. for a first release teaser gallery, i think they look great. however, i understand some of the concerns about price point vs player selection. keep in mind theres a whole slew of rookies yet to come, along with kobe/durant/other big name legends we haven't seen.

dear God, i just pinoymamba'ed the s*** of of that post.

The cards look nice, but look very similar to National Treasures. If panini wants to come out with another High End product, they need to switch up the design and color. I'm getting bored with the all white cards.

Base cards numbered to just 20? Crazy. In a good way.

How come there is no Panini "RC" emblem designation like other set on these?

True, but the setting the price at over $1200, CRAZY in a very bad way.

I think the cards look gorgeous. The reactions to the price is where we are at in the hobby. Everyone scrambling to see if they can get a profit if they buy. People moaning about not getting their money back. Here's a thought. DONT BUY IT if you're worried about making money on it.

I want to buy it just so I can keep the cards but to spend that much I rather buy some Kobe/MJ/LBJ autos.

From what we're being shown, it doesn't look even close to worth it. I'm curious to see what else is in there that we haven't seen yet (not that I'm busting it either way).

I concur if Panini is going to charge this much then the signers and g/u has to be of elite retired and current stars, plain and simple. There have been plenty of other products this year where you can get less-than-desirable autos and patches but at this price point the selection has to be top-notch.

I only buy cards on the secondary market so it doesn't really affect me.

The way I see it though, you have a 99% chance of losing money on any box of basketball cards, so I'd personally rather spend $1,200 on Flawless and at least stand the chance of getting some well-designed cards for my money rather than a load of crap.

It's not about profit, it's about getting value. I have no problem taking a loss on a box of cards.......but I dont want to get $500 worth of cards for $1250. It doesnt make sense to buy a box in that scenario. Boxes have to be competitive in value.

I do too, but cards coming out of a $1200 box are not going to come cheap.

If they released this as a one-hit per box product @ $125, people would love it. 10 hits for $1,250, it's like a case-in-a-box.

I will buy a Tobias Harris or 2.. I am calling to see what cost is direct right now.

NO WAY IN HELL FOR 1200$ a BOX should there be PRIME cards with that collar piece. They should all be real patches.
This stuff looks like a more glorified NT. I love the designs and the cards but not the price.
I guess we will see how it takes off since its released BEFORE Immaculate.

LMC.. 1 box immaculate or 7 tobias harris NT rpa?? HMMM

Is this Panini's first product that, if early indications are anything to go by, is sticker free?
