Stephen Curry V.S. Kyrie Irving, Who is better?

Both are my favorite players, but which one is better in long run? Stephen Curry or Kyrie Irving, (without injuries)? Need your thoughts or opinion.

I like Curry.

kmedia1 09-07-2013 06:39 PM

Irving is better

remlaf01 09-07-2013 06:41 PM

Kyrie Irving, hands down.

Jopeal 09-07-2013 06:41 PM

Steph has been one of my favorite players since Davidson, but I'd have to say Kyrie has more potential to grow. I don't see Curry improving much (he's damn good already), but I think Kyrie could in 5 years become a potential MVP candidate.

Rhyster66 09-07-2013 06:42 PM

Irving with ease.

Kobe24>MJ23 09-07-2013 06:48 PM

Stephen Curry is way better than Kyrie IMO. Kyrie can't even get to the playoffs with top draft picks on his team and probably still won't with another #1 draft pick

he will have lebron in 2014 and kyrie will carry them to the playoffs:p

ohhhh wait..

MLH 09-07-2013 06:52 PM

Curry is one of the best shooters ive ever seen, but Kyrie has a better all around game IMO.
I think id take Kyrie by a nose if I had to start a franchise with one or the other.

bballcollector 09-07-2013 06:53 PM

Stephen Curry. He was amazing in the playoffs.

Wrong, Lebron is going to Laker land

Jopeal 09-07-2013 06:54 PM

You definitely wouldn't guess it by looking at them but Kyrie is also 4 years younger. Huge + for Kyrie there

ConRyl 09-07-2013 06:56 PM

They play a different style. Curry is by far the better shooter and his game will probably translate better to SG down the line, while Irving is a better pure PG as far as passing and settiing up his teammates. Irving is the better PG and he going to continue to get better.

Hoops2088 09-07-2013 07:21 PM

I think this one is really close. Both can shoot, but the better shooter is Curry. Both can pass, but I give a slight edge to Kyrie. In the long run, I think Curry will be the better player.

I'll take Chris Paul without injuries... But seriously Curry w/o his glass ankles is the better of the two

IronMonkey415 09-07-2013 07:57 PM

I like the guy that breaks other people ankle with his dribble move and not the one that injured his own by walking up the court.

irving is better

Ok and who has a better supporting cast?

Klay top pick

David Lee all star

Bogut former DPOY

Jack 6th man candidate

Barnes top pick

So does Curry play with a bunch of scrubs out there in GS?

Dion Waiters and Thompson were both higher draft picks than Barnes and Thompson (I think) and if Kyrie doesn't make the playoffs with another high draft pick it would be sad since he is the "better" player here

Curry made the playoffs once in 4 years

Kyrie only been in nba for 2 years

Your comparison makes no sense

Exquisite Man 09-07-2013 10:46 PM

its close i would say stephn curry by a little bit as of now.

Look up Stephen Curry crossovers on YouTube then

tristan20 09-07-2013 11:03 PM

Kyrie, just more versatile and consistent.

Kyrie breaks ankles, Curry does the opposite lol

marsblackmon 09-07-2013 11:35 PM

this is actually a great question, in the long run I'd have to go with Kyrie, just a more expansive skill-set.

topbasketballfa 09-08-2013 01:13 AM

one got glass ankles and can shoot the lights off, the other is injury prone and has sick handles. flip a coin.
