The jersey numbered card of a rookie from a major set is more valuable to many collectors (including myself) than a 1/1.

No way.

So speaking in football terms, you'd rather have say an Andrew Luck Chrome auto 12/99 than a Luck Chrome Superfractor auto?

I can't really relate since I have no hobby interest in Luck, but I would rather have the Lebron James 23/99 Exquisite RC versus the Lebron James 1/1 Exquisite RC.

I prefer the run to be higher too. i.e. 0023/1999 is more collectible to me than 23/99

Just to get this straight then, say that the prizm refractors were /499, you would trade a lebron Gold refractor for a Lebron 6/499 regular refractor?

I would rather have the 6/499, definitely. Would I trade it straight up? Possibly, unless I felt I could get more for the gold. Hard to answer theoretical since the other players in the market I can't predict.

But, generally I would rather have the jersey numbered card. That is my preference because I set what I like and don't like. I don't care for Kobe, Jordan or Lebron cards, but I understand that others do.

I know the user ID. I don't know the person. (meaning I haven't seen them in my buying before, I've seen the other person before)

Some people have much to learn about knowing your market and buyers!!

Im with you on this. Jersey numbered well before others.

If we are talking rookies sure. Just look at closing prices for best possible rookie jersey numbered card. Im sure youll see a huge premium paid for such cards.

The only legit bid I can confirm is the $1289. That bid came from a legit buyer.

All the market manipulators and shillers! Of course a record price!

I'd love to see what this card would sell at a real auction! Only $35!

Would sell for the exact same price. The top two bidders are legit bids. Both wanted it way more than anyone else in the market.

Nope. $35. Don't let all the market manipulators and shillers fool you! I know that they're up to no good!
