Its pointless to keep going back and forth.

I don't see how you could say they are better. Rose does not have the shooting touch or dribbles kyrie has, and don't say kyrie isn't getting assists cus he is. As for Westbrook he's a ball hog who throws up shots. Wohoo

Gms want kyrie to start a franchise not any of those guys. And isn't kyrie ranked top 10 by espn?

Who gives a crap about ESPNs rankings they have Joakim Noah over Kobe Bryant. You cant take that list serious.

You can't be #1 PG without carrying the team to win. To me, Kyrie has to get 50+ wins for Cavs, advance to 2nd round playoff and it is ok to loss to CHI, Miami, IND in 7 game series. That is my minimum way to see him being success. Otherwise, any good player can play for stat, not for "W".

Thank you. I agree 100%. The Cavs couldn't even make the playoffs and the Bucks only had to win 38 games to make it with Brandon Jennings running the show.

You're the one that thinks Kyrie Irving is better than Derrick Rose who is a former MVP. How dumb do you sound.

I thought we are talking "today" Irving, not his future year. I'm sure you can use "give it time" as an argument for every discussion. Sure, like we all know what his future will hold.. lol

Last year, Irving actually had -2 points/100 possessions when he is on court. On the other hand, Varejao had +13 points when he is on court.

Chris Paul is +25, btw...

You're right when you say he's only 21 but if you say he's that damn good like you think he is he should be able to take the Cavs to the playoffs this year. Kyrie dropped 29 on a Bucks team that can't play defense. Both Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova didnt play and the Cavs still lost.

That include you as well. You said Irving can do whatever he could do like last night in every game night... hmm You are based on your assumption to predict the future event as well.

what you talking about? You said I made a prediction that he would score 30 and crickets would ensue. I did and that did happen.

you use the argument about CP3 or rose or whoever never winning anything, but kyrie has never either.

they are better players than him in a vaccuum, but if kyrie had a ring or a finals appearance then maybe your argument gains some credibility.

fact is that cp3 and westbrook both have gold medals, westbrook has been to the finals, rose has an mvp, hell - rondo has a ring.

kyrie has done less than ANYONE. he never even had the same accomplishments in college. your own logic hurts your own argument.

but you know what? i like kyrie. he will turn his year around, and i think it will happen soon. but look at him for what he is: a PG ranked somewhere between 6-10 at his position with potential. but lets not start putting him in the top 3, or even anywhere close yet.

It's funny because of how childish people are in this thread, its like once people come to this board everything has to get personal.

Kyrie Irving, much like Bryce Harper, is overhyped. I made a thread about both of these at one point or another. Coincidentally, both are my favorite players. They are overhyped because the media talks them up, this does not mean that they aren't good or anything, just that prices were too high pre-season.

I was the first one in the baseball forum before both bryce or trout were called up to say trout would be a far superior talent than Bryce Harper and go on to have a more fruitful career. Sure looks to be starting that way now, doesn't it?

I think the primary problem with a lot of the hobby is that they automatically equate 'well he has hype so his card prices HAVE to be justified!' Then they get burned holding for too long. We've all fell victim to this before.

Then again...not so bad for sellers. Easy as ever to milk the 'sheeple' in this pump n' dump driven ebay hobby.
