To Rip or to Flip...THAT is the question...

I am expecting a couple of boxes of Premier Basketball today or tomorrow that I pre-purchased at a pretty decent price.

Based on what has come out of this product so far, does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not it would be better to rip these or put them on the Bay?

Yes, I know that it is always a gamble to rip a box, but is it worth the risk for this one?

OR, might it be worth sitting on these given the limited number produced?

If you purchased them at a good price, just take the chance at ripping them. Better than losing money ripping them at $300 a box.

If you like Joakim Noah, Kevin Durant, Acie Law or Steve Nash rip it(there was like 1 of these guys in every box), if you don't sell.

I would flip them. Seems that UD may have overhyped this product a bit. Lots of repeat autos in the case broken last night.

Unless your really wanting something for your pc, I'd flip these while they're hot, or hold onto them for long term resale (remember there are redemptions).

overall it was way better than baseball premier tho, not sure why all the hate. Well i'd hate it at the current price, but not the original.

What's going to happen when...

Nearly all of these 499 cases are busted because there are redemptions? Then the redemptions expire right after the last of the found cases are busted? Then McCain turns our economy around and gas prices drop to $1.50 per gallon again, which means everyone will have all of this extra expendable income to buy what may be the rarest UD product in recent times???

I'll tell you...I will profit along with those few others that chose to keep this product sealed.

Well, after going back and forth, I decided to open one of the boxes...and I am very glad I did! Now, the only question is, do I open the second box? I am sure it will be a disappointment after this, but who knows? With UD collation there might be a 1/1 Jordan in the other box!

Or flip that box, your other hits and keep the Jordan/Lebron/Magic in the PC for free....

Well, I went ahead and ripped the second...definitely not as good as the first, but still a 1/1 and some nice hits! Even more so if you are actually a Tom Chambers fan...does he actually have fans? Sorry...I digress...I will also post these in the breaks section, but thought it was worth putting here also to keep with the thread.

Been looking for a Horford auto, so I was pretty happy about this one!

Couldn't get through a Premier break without Steve Nash!

I lost over $350 on the 2 boxes I broke. This is another reason I can not buy Lower Decked. I didn't have a single card near the value of any of the big hits you had.

I feel your pain, believe me. I have had my fair share of being "Decked". Had terrible luck with SP Authentic Football this year...I had one box that had only 1 auto in it (as opposed to the advertised 3 per box)...and it was not even a patch auto or a player who will ever get off the scout team!

I was very pleasantly surprised with these two boxes...I certainly hope that you get some nice box mojo in the near future also! Good luck!

This is the only product that I consistently see good things being pulled out of. There are a lot of repeats though. I say good choice on the rip!
