Default Big men on the move:Z & Chandler

The Bobcats have traded big men Tyson Chandler and Alex Ajinca to the Mavericks, in exchange for Erick Dampier, Matt Carroll and Eduardo Najera.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Zydrunas Ilgauskas will accept a contract from the Miami Heat, according to Cavs beat writer Brian Windhorst.

Big Z had spent his entire career with Cleveland, but would obviously rather chase a ring with LeBron and the Heat than sit through a re-building process with the Cavs. It's conceivable that he'll start at center while Chris Bosh plays PF.

Dumb trade for the Mavs IMO. Chandler's been injured every season

7 good starters for Heat now: Chalmers, Miller, Wade, Lebron, Bosh, Haslem, and Z. What was that the LA homers were saying about being better than the Heat?

Trade doesn't seem to help Charlotte out unless some of those are expiring contracts.

Miami still has to prove they are better than LA. Until they defeat them for a title, LA still has the rings.

Yes....LAKERS are still better than the Heat. Until the Lakers are dethroned...they are the team to beat. Are you a (t-wolves fan0 now claiming Miami?

Well the Heat have to be better, especially if they're starting 7 players!

Perhaps Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh have found a way to physically combine themselves into one super being like the Power Rangers or something.

Dampier was a salary dump by Dallas but why not just wait until his salary is gone themselves and get someone better than Tyson?
Big Z should call it a day. Too many injuries and his age have made him ineffective.
Oh, and Bosh is highly overrated in my book.

Miami now has Z for Hack-a-Howard. (or Hack-a-Whomever, whatever you want to call it) If Miami gets a couple more key position players, like maybe a quick PG to hand out assists, man-o-man that's going to be a team that makes a run for the trophy. Can they get Jameer Nelson? I always thought he was underrated.

Wow.

Miami still needs a solid center....Z cant play more than 20 minutes a game, his career-long leg and foot problems are slowing the big man down....but he still has a mean outside shot

Good point, they should go get Andrew Bogut.
